They forgot to add 1" of fresh gravel, 3 inches of green grass, granite ledge with a fresh coat of white paint, some fkin guy who appears to be posting in the wrong thread, and metric ruler that the Boyne CEO reads as inches. There wasn't 22" in the woods nevermind 36. They might love to ride on rocks in Michigan, but in NH things are different. Opening big dipper and angel street on natural snow was/is a joke. They might ass well go t ta b on 100%.

Those snow totals are pure exaggeration. AND! I'm certain the base depths go all the way down to below the ground level in some spots. I'd call it -2". Can I get a refund on my pass?

No snow at my place @ Exit 24 at 6am so we went back to sleep. Woke up an hour later to check the 7am ski report and saw 19" and practicly had a stroke. Loaded up the wif & gear and we were out the door in less than 15 min. There was still no snow all the way up to Exit 31 so we thought it was all a fkn joke. When we hit 32, we knew it was fo'real b'yatches!!! Downtown Linkin got bombed!! It was so surreal to go from nuthin to a dumpin in just a few minutes.

They defn got 12-18" of light fluffy pow on the hill. I got a sweet run down Triple Trouble just after ski patrol lifted the line. The drifts on the edge of the trail were easily 2 feet plus!! The ungroomed trails got tracked out pretty quick, but they were still pretty fun to bomb on soft boots. About half the hill got groomed to preserve the snow. These trails were buttery soft and great for carving on the softies.

More flurries for the rest of the week. Conditions should be improving on the Suck Meter @ Loon.

sounds good enzo, looks like loon is the new cannon!! we got 6x the snow in 24hrs than wv!

the wiffer and i had a good laugh at their report sat night over margs as i took a belt sander to my base- just wondering if the new one was real

might be time to take down the signs "how to load a lift with crampons" and "please replace your divots"

They still need the signs on the East Basin. Even with all the snow, Big Dipper is still pretty thin between the bumps with lots of grass & free stone grinds. The gOoNs were in full force bombing that trail. What kind of wax do you guys use for grass??

Otherwise, everything else was looking good!!

OK so there is apparently a white hole in Lincoln that magically appeared overnight. Thanks for the on-the-scene reporting. After I saw the snow tots for Lost River and Franconia notch (11.5 inches each since Friday) I was sure they were fluffing the numbers.

Negative? I'm not negative....

What about cats? you guys got any cats?

Polaris,

Boards were dropped off @ The Speed Factory today and they'll be ready for Thurs. I'll try to have the hot dog lady make a special delivery for ya on Friday. He says he has some new structures for boards that are working out really well. The tune on my Rome Anthem softboot board is pretty sick...the grip on ice is redonkulous. Can't wait to see how the metal coilers come out!!:eplus2:

If anyone else needs boards tuned, I can git r done midweek.

Sounds good G. I may play hooky on Friday. If I do, I will give you a call to set up a different delivery plan. I can't wait to run it over some rocks.

Speaking of coilers, I got a note from the GUY that he has a 165 SL VSR in the works with an approximate 10.5 SC. Sounds like a game changer fo sho.

Stray pigs don't stand a chance in my yard. Keep em in ya pen or they might end up in my freeza!

I think the pic on Loon's website was taken at Cannon. The wiffer went up today and said conditions were great, but still thin on Upper Boss & the free do-it-yourself-stonegrind gravel pit still exists by Camp III. They were blowin' snow on Upper Angel, Upper Flume, RumRunner, & RipSaw.

Adding to Enzo's report: Tonight, they were pulling the chairs off the Kanc Quad and by now have probably fired up the guns on Northstar.

Anyone from t32 looking to share a double at stratton. Or make a bigger group. example:2 doubles form into a 2 bedroom. A 2 bedroom can sleep four, five , or six at long trail plus it is a much bigger area to breath in. All it takes is a phone call to rereserve. I am there one way or another, I am trying to get some people together in a bigger room, Those doubles are kind of small.

Thanks for the offer but I think we're all set. Stevo, our Chief of Logistics/Security , has made plans for us to be staying at an undisclosed, off-site location.

I was just adding up the potential costs of new high performance gear:

Kessler - $1500

Vist- $500

Sidewinders $450

BTS $100

Boots $600

Only $3150.

And thinking about whether the average weekend carver is willing to drop that much on thier gear. I think most of us have spent less than half that on out current sets, but more in total on all our gear. I'm thinking it will be a while before I'm ready to spend that kind of $$ on one set-up. Anyone dying to ride a WC-level set-up as their daily quiver killer game changer?
