Guest
Maybe in Denver, but see my other post: we had at least 18 inches here. Shredding the gnar gnar binks this early in the season has never been this good.
chadx
Send some if it up Montana's way. Farmer's Almanac says much colder than usual this year, but I didn't see how the snow outlook was...ah...looking. Last year was great snow, but the year before was rock city. Base was fairly good, but you'd still smack a few rocks each day until Feb.

Guest
Eh, they're both pretty bad. If the layers don't bond properly, you have big time avalanche danger.
patmoore
I'm near Okemo this weekend. Torrential rains here today but there is a little snow and ice on the ground in the higher elevations. Forecast for tonight is for rain turning to snow but no accumulation expected. The child bride and I are doing a cruise Nov 4-12. When we get back, there'd better be snow!!!!
