you got my interest! what is the flex (soft-med-stiff)? did you get it new or used? if used any history? if new how much time on it? for the base is it only ptex is what you show or is there more? how much for the TD2's..

obession is the fruit of life!!! just made that one up-i like it!!! if you can make it great if not the next time.. who is your friend from donek? i would like to connect to check out their boards as well as some tech questions as well as if he has any boards to demo before the season ends.. i was looking at my rt and started to look at the whole center of contact length for binding position on the board and donek as well as the EC site set the bindings off of the center line..the rt is 3cm set back-so my next time out i have it set up using the center as well as widening my stance.. abession... i hope it would make the forward and back movement not as great as it is now keeping more of my mass centered which i am hoping that both legs work more together (again obession).. you said the loaf was killer did you see erik at all? were the runs groomed? was there a lot of people?

Dan, count me in for the weekend..is wawa opening lifts at 7.30? my understanding is there were to be early openings but i never saw it on their web site. if you found it do tell me for future dates. sat or sun will work i guess it depends on mother nature..

condictions were great last night all you had to do was follow the groomer, plus there was empty (for the most part). I hope to make it Sat and Sunday for first chair (we'll see how that goes)

great minds think alike!!! it should be great a bit cold i heard (18 degreess) which means the snow will be great after they groom it. we can play follow the groomers all night. if something comes up i will post it, as it stands now, i'm there.. did you get the new board?

dan, same here a great day out and i hope we get more. i went out for a few runs on the HT, its a keeper!!! it is simular to my rt, stiffer overall. i liked having a narrower board i wouldn't have thought that little would feel any differently.. thanks for the demo-let me know if you want to meet somewhere so i can give you back the board and boots.. if you want to you can take my rt and give that a ride or my atomic alibi (fatty). how did the back hold up later in the day? i think i will be at wawa tomorrow night. angie or lee, any plans?

Shaggy, long time since we last talked... and even longer from riding at gunstock...how is it going? hows your daughters racing going? is she still into it? you will smile to hear this season i put on a full court press to ride alpine and having agreat time and meeting a lot of new people and the funny thing is they (most) know you (fleck, bleckman+others i just can't remember names)..i took a lesson with eric a few weeks ago up at the loaf and riding has gone to a new level.. I see your selling a 158 but 1250.00. for that price it has to do a lot more than a good ride!!!!!!!!! were are you riding these days? i heard you got a new job-let me know whats up and i will see if we can get out and ride one day catch ya soon ed griffin

doesn't look like first tracks for me its going to take most of the morning to dig out the snow and ice is so heavy i could bearly shovel off my front steps.. so i don't think this morning is going to happen but Sunday morning for first tracks will work. I may try later, I have to see. I did go last night and it was great they groomed the trails and for the first 6 or so runs were the best of the season plus nobody there. i put plates on my soft fat board and worked out the best.. it was easy to float and when needed able to layin an edge, which surprised me how well it did work, I may never go back to soft boots now. if you guys get out there this morning drive safe and let me know how it was.

it will take an act of god not to be there for first tracks.. boots i will have.. i may try to get up there for an hour or two as soon as i can get away from my emails/work..

Cail which do you like better the Stratos or the UPZ's? I have tried the UPZ's and were great I did not to get out and ride with them but they seemed to have the charateristcs I am looking for. is the heads simular?

went out last night and met up with two other rides Angie and (forgive my aging memory for losing your name) but wawa was as good as it gets for spring condictions. As the night went on less people on the runs.. If you go on a weekend get there for first chair about 8am because you will have the place to yourself (for the most part) till 10.30 ish..after that it could and again not get crowded. I plan on being there at 8 sat..even if it snows (yahoo!!!) hope to get some runs in with you.. Ed

Hey guys I will be there tomorrow night. I am setting up my soft with plates for my daughter to try (another convert)!!! I will be there from 4.30 to 9 Angie see you there I would think finding a female on an alpine with a tee shirt should be easy to find!!! Hope to see some of you out there.. does anyone know are they grooming when its this soft? if they do follow the groomer till it gets chewed up should be a good time for some EC!!!!!!

17th looks good for me i will keep you posted..i too want to pick up the madd in the 158 or is it 159? beware of its flex it comes in 3 choices and the stiff is very stiff from what i heard and the mid is plenty still even for advance riders.. i have been told be a few vew good riders that its the best eastern board there is.. short radius with edge hold on ice like no other..i have yet to try one so my comments are only hear say..i saw somewhere one for sale but can't remember where.. i was out last night and nobody was there i made more runs where i did not see a soul on the run than not... heading to conway later today-i will bring my RT but bring skis as well since my kids and friends are only skiing it makes it easier.. glad to hear your on the mend.. your board "heavy metal" is that its model? or make? have you found any specs on it? contact you when i get back..

go to wawa its more than worth it..i get out there about 4 times a week..i have to take my daughter there for race pratice so i got a season pass and is worth every penny.. there is a few of us that ride out there you will see the postings on this forum.. if you get out there put a post and see who can make it.. tell me about what brought you to hard boot riding,,

too bad-drugs, rest, ice you'll be back in no time!! i just got back from wa and not too bad much different than yesterday not as warm when I left at 11 the snow was still sugar.. i was thinking it was going to be soft so i brought my softy and the alpine would have been much better. yes i would love to try your new board we'll figure it out for when. hey is your wife giving you s%#t or she has given up as mine has it took 30 years but all i get now is that look.. hope there is some good stuff on the tube.. later
