  1. Putting this out to the locals to see if there is any interest. I should be writting on how much snow we have (any day now) but until that happens..I have a friend that is custom making longboards and wanted to see how many out there would be interested in trying out the sport on some really killer boards..I just got hooked on it, so to those that have never tried it and love to carve this is the closest it comes to carving on snow. Again looking to see what the interest is and if we get enough interest to put something together.
  2. dingbat good to hear the beast is holding on to what they are making. At ward we are ok but as you know put a few inches down loose a few the next day..Hey we have to catch up there are a few things I want to run past you for this year or maybe even for next..what is a good time to call and the best # to reach you at?

  4. Mark whatever happened to the video that was taken. I saw it being edited and wondering if ever posted..
  5. JD, yesterday was great I went out for an hour this evening opened the stance put in the pump and the lines where there, what a difference an inch makes.....plus a lot of pressure at the right time...magic.. Would you be up if I can get a some people together to do a gate clinic or even a ride clinic?? I know the guys would love if we could arrange something. Again thanks for the tips and results....
  6. I'm going to try to make it as well..see ya there about 6 ish
  7. good note John said the other day that he was going to stay open for March (we'll see) he did the two for one as standard ticket price to get some people to the hill. Again lets see what happens. Hey when are you around to lay down some turns??? All work and no play.....
  8. Anybody heading out tonight ?
  9. For Mon how does 11 ish sound? My schedule looks good for that. But with work right now that window could close in which case I will email you..
  10. Mark GREAT JOB.. what more can be said than no crowds, 7 inches of fresh groomed snow and a great bunch of preople to carve with!!! I just wish my legs could have done today.. Thanks to Mark, Joerg and Remo for their time and company..
  11. If your coming out to Ward Thurs I'll be there.
  12. I'll be at wawa on monday-however wed or thurs for ward is good
  13. I'll give the duct tape a try, I have tried different types of oils and lubs but that cavity keeps getting built up with ice.
  14. Has anyone come across this with TD1 where your back foot on top of the toe and heel have the snow pack into ice making so you have to chip it away before getting in?
  15. I was there last night didn't see ya..too bad the condictions were perfect not a person there and packed groomers all night (as long as you could stay out). Can't make Wed I will probaby end up at ward for an hour or so.
  16. I would think tonight will suck.. Geoffv I will catch ya Sat we'll see how it looks for next wed..
  17. Monday sounds good any chance on getting the Bastard as a demo?
  18. Geoffv, sorry I did not see your post to late I was stuck in traffic and by the time I got home I crashed for the night..I hope the condictions were good and not too many people--I think they have a high school race on thurs night which can bring in way too many kids for ward...
  19. all great comments....I plan on testing the Pure Boards at the Demo center at Berkshire East and for once we have great snow.
  20. Maybe I am in Waltham till 5 so it wouldn't be to 7 ish till I show..
  21. You have that right about wachu I went a few times at night and if your not going straight down the run someone is coming from behind to take you out, plus maybe I have been hitting it wrong but their grooming at night has been the worst I have seen in 25 years of going there. I can't wait for work to slow down so I can get up there in the morning for a few runs.. Ward is small but I have never had a bad outting there when I can play with other carvers...I'm 5 min from Ward so any night works for me as well as most lunch hours I can get out and play for an hour or so. So if you want to come over post it, email me and I'll see ya there... Yahoo finally we got some real snow!!!!
  22. There has been some feed back on board selection for EC. So far the general thought is technique plays more into it than equipment. Coiler has gotten most of the attention for boards...My question is if one was going to put down the cash on a new ride and the riders style is side to side laying down as deep as a carve the run/condictions will allow (also 98% of riding is here in the New England area) is a board like the Sword, G-Force, Pure Board (Bastard), F2 best bang for the $ than a Coiler or Donek. My goal is really to get feed back from those that have gone through this process since demos are hard to find. However I am looking forward to the Beast demos of Pure Board.
