  1. resize the picture eg in Paint: Image stretch/skew if that's what you ment
  2. In fact the 2nd one is designed in two versions. This one, and the one with 2 cm shorter nose, and all the others specs remain the same. and i prefere the shorter design, but i don't know why i put this one here. probably because it's longer, so it sounds more GS.. more dangerous
  3. Never heared of them! I just liked the name I want my boards to be GROOVY ;) I think I'll have them manufactured at Pogo.... When I collect money  the first one for next winter, and the other two probably the year after.
  4. I'm not sure if I got it right, since english is not my native language, but I think that boards, especially the first one, has a huge eff edge/overall length ratio. The first one has 171 overall length and 158 running length! I think that's quite a lot! It has no tail and only 13 cm nose length.
  5. I've been into designing boards past 4 or 5 years. Now I've got 3 boards I've designed, but haven't had them made. I think I'll ask guys at Pogo to make them when I collect money Except the last one, Groove FC... I might ask Bruce to make it. What do you think of these designs? edit: I put the pic of 181 instead of 183. same specs, only 2 cm shorter nose
  6. so what boots would you recommend for an allmtn board? not necessarily DeeLuxe. would Head or some others be even better? thanks
  7. I've never ridden an allmtn board, but i am thinking of getting one. perhaps Coiler AM (23 cm in waist). Having ridden longer and shorter, softer and stiffer race/carve boards i drew a conclusion that some boards "prefere" really hard boots, and others not so hard ones. Or am I wrong? and what about all mtn boards? I guess my UPZ boots would be too stiff for such a ride, no? what boots do you suggest? and what's the difference between Suzuka and Track 325? Hardness is 6 on both, as i saw on deeluxe website. is it the canting only? thanks
  8. couldn't agree more. i have a custom made board at home and it was made to do everything on piste, but it can't do anything 100% i was planing to get myself a new custom that would be "better" and could do it better, but then i realised that it's not possible. one should have more boards for more purposes now i'm planning to get a Pogo Impact for crowded slopes and probably Prior WCR Metal 187 or maybe Goltes ProCarve or even Pogo Blitz for wider slopes. just need quite a lot of money :(
  9. I think a custom Pogo won't be more than some Virus. and i've seen a custom Pogo last season in austria similar to your description, maybe a bit bigger radius, and some 1000 inches of camber! it looked crazy! i found that board on the internet later, and it's called Pogo Porno! it definitly is porno! so i guess you can all see that my favorite boards are Pogo
  10. that's def my favorite photo! notice that his hand is under the line of his board! i love it! and i must say that i like Will Garrow's photo as well!
  11. you motha funka, of course you prefer the one on the right... the left one is standing, and the right one is already laying down on the floor ready for you!
  12. so, are you selling it? i mean, I'd like to buy it...
  13. thanks for all your posts and the tips! my problem is that it's hard to find somebody who could show me some things, so I usualy try to find some good carver and try to do what he does...:o And tomorrow I'm going to Nassfeld (Austria) with my friend who is a funkin good skier! And belive me, you can learn about carving a board from such a good skier! At least he motivates you to become better!
  14. Thanks guys! The thing is that I'm (as most of you probably) a snowboard freak, so I've been living for winter for the whole year! I don't think I'll put off snowboarding. I even injured my knee working as a rafting guide, earning money for snowboarding! And I did a lot of training in last few months, so I'm almost as strong as I was in my best days Last March I demoed a Pogo Impact and it was much more gentle to my knee so I think I'll try to gather money for it. That's how I'll spend money I earned during the summer. I just need a few more hundreds of euros  The only problem is that I don't feel like selling my custom made Coiler, but it seems that I'll have to.. for the benfit of my knee! Or is it a stupid thing to do?
  15. Hi guys! I just realized on some photos that my front knee is not pushed forwards enough. And that's only on last season's photos, after I've had a knee operation... I somehow don't feel like having enough power to push my knee more forwards! What should I do? thanks
  16. I have two boards, but I never ride my Nidecker. It feels too short after riding a Coiler. In fact I asked this question because I think I'll have to sell my both boards to get money for a POGO IMPACT. Selling only a Nidecker won't be enough. And I really wanted to keep my custom made Coiler. Then I'd have Coiler for mornings and Pogo for afternoons, but I'm afraid I'll have to let my Coiler go :( That's how crazy about the Pogo I am!
  17. price is $400 + shipping i'll post some pics soon
  18. year 2004. ridden about 40 days. some scratches on the top As I remember it's 157 cm eff. edge, 12.2 m radius, 18.5 cm waist width with WCC and stiff. index 7.0 Location: Croatia, Europe
  19. do you have one snowboard that's your favorite and you ride it most of the time? or do you take a different board every time you go boarding depending on the slopes you ride on, or the quality of the snow? I'm not talking of alpine vs powder boards. I'm talking of two or more different alpine boards, like Madd 158 and Prior 187, or maybe a small and narrow Virus and a large Swoard. thanks
  20. I'm from Croatia, and that's where Janica Kostelic is from. I guess you all know who she is. and she allways had bacon and onions before trainings. So that's what we should all eat And what I saw on those photos attached here, it's not bacon! It's just a ham! I'll post a photo of a real bacon tomorrow :D
  21. Thanks for your answers! I wouldn't like to discuss Coiler boards now... I mean, I like them very much. I owe a custom RaceCarve and love it, but I have to say that it lost almost all camber after the 2nd season (about 50 days of riding it). Maybe it's just my Coiler. So, any other opinions on Tropical Tube? Does that discusible construction quality have a lot to do with lifetime?
  22. And what about their lifetime? Can they last forever like Pogo's and Virus', or maybe a bit less than forever like Coiler's or some other boards?
  23. I tried Goltes ProCarve 175 and like it very much!
