I tested the old version of Race T when it was new and was blown away. And to be honest, I'm a bit afraid of Full Race boards... I'm sure they ride great, but they seem to be much more agressive than the old ones. And since both my knees and my shoulders are not working properly, and since I got married... (I'm not that young any more!!! ) I thought I should stick with something more user friendly :lol:

In fact, I was after a Race T, but there were no Race T boards left anywhere in Europe, so I went with this one. It's the same construction with titanal, but is a bit more expensive because of the graphics... @ Zanci a bit over €700 with VAT and shipping. but regular price is €1000, so I guess it's quite reasonable for such a nice titanal board @mc-alex: isn't it 178? or do you have a new one (that one is 175)..

Just got it! I think it's the last one in Europe. Or there might be one more in 185 size.. Never mind! I wanted it, and now I've got it :D Can't wait for the snow!!!

My first carving deck was Nidecker, too. And I loved it! And I've had a custom Coiler, as well. My improvement was obvious! BUT, now I'm not sure that custom is the sollution. I rode some wonderful production boards (say SG), and the best thing is that you can test ride a board before buying it, unlike custom boards. But still, it's not that I wouldn't do some modifications on the production board I'm after. But would it change board's behaviour too much? I don't know... So I can't help you :o P.S. the board I'm after, I mentioned in text, is metal! I Love it!

Couldn't find anything like that for testing And I really did want to try Berserker Titanium... or at least a normal one.

Hola! Just came back from Soelden where I tested Psycho Evolution (Black series) and Vampire 175 In the first place, the weather was rather bad, visibilty was terrible and snow was VERY soft! As I recall, Psycho was 169 or something like that, but it's still very fast! Or we could better put it like this: it loves speed!!! and it needs speed! And I must say it's still very springy! Much springier than titanal boards I've riden! Quite a dangerous board for foggy conditions Vampire 175 was totally different. It's quite calm, and feels like a sheet of paper under your feet! (those are the only words I can think of to describe the feel... reminds me of a Goltes Extreme Carve feel) but it holds very nice in turns! All together very nice boards, but it seems I'm not up to them! I somehow keep the memory of enjoying SG Race T few years ago as the best feel ever. So maybe SG is a more appropriate board for me, maybe SG is better, or maybe I just don't understand why Virus boards cost that much... I'll attach some photos. The Psycho Black Edition looks

Never tried a Prior, but they seem to have almost the same geometry as SG Speed. I tested SG Race T (the old shape - same as Speed) and simply LOVED IT!!! Best board I ever rode by far!!! and I rode Nidecker, Burton, F2, Coiler (old RC model), Goltes, Xtasy, Virus Nightmare and Pogo Impact. But in the same time, it's the only metal board I ever rode, so maybe that's why I loved it so much... I guess I didn't help you much... :o

hmmm seems interesting.... no smell in wool stuff? but my main problem regarding smell is mid layers since I don't wash them every day, and I wash base layers after every use. So mid layer is maybe where I should be looking at wool stuff. But it somehow doesn't seem windproof and I don't think wool dries fast... thanks guys! other oppinions? Could anybody say something on Kjus base/mid layers? Cheers!

Hi there! The best mid layer I have is a Napapijri fleece, and it is already rather good compared to other stuff I have. But since most of my skier friends wear Spyder, Colmar, Bogner, Kjus and similar, and they are never cold and they never sweat (at least not as much as me) I started thinking about affording myself something like that. Based on reviews, I find Arcteryx to be best buy stuff. And Kjus seems to be VERY expensive, but people say it is the best by far! it's my front (left) knee. it's no problem in front turn since the position of the knee is relatively natural, but in back turn the position is quite unnatural and i'm afraid of pushing it stronger than I already do (I was sure I was really pushing it hard, but video shows different :o) and somehow I guess my front knee should be the one that sets a board on a cant. or am I wrong? You think I could try doing it with my back knee?

Yes. That's something I've been trying to do, but untill seeing myself on a video, I was sure I was doing it right.. :( So I should just pressure the front foot even more, and that should be it.. I hope my knee will be OK with it Cheers!

I have a similar problem. But I guess my problem is that I lean my butt first and then my knees (only in my back side turn) and since my left leg is quite weak after the knee surgery, I feel like I simply can't push my knees first and after that my butt! Or maybe I'm just afraid because of my knee... :o What should I do? How can I make this right? Cheers and sorry for OT
