  1. i should've gone for the car wax idea. Mine has a solid line across it that you can see when light is reflecting off of it, from where it touches the slots on the gondola. Oh well, its a work of art, and I'm not gonna worry too much if there are scratches on it. It is a shame though.

I'm probably not going to bring it to the slopes until the first big snowfall or 3 or so weeks after they open...to let everyone else discover the rocks for me. :D

  2. glenn,

    the board looks great!

i wish gleb had gone with something simple like that for his 176am . but he probably had to do something to go with his yellow pajama pants, and his fluff-stash. btw, gleb i can make a donation to your team canada tuxedo. ill get you the pants that go with the north of the border jacket. those pj bottoms have to go!

why have hamburger when you can have steak? That design is priceless.

I love my yellow PJ/parachute pants. Can you believe I almost threw those out 2 years ago? And now you got me thinking about my fluff sandwiches. I haven't had one since my last day at loon. I'll probably make one tomorrow.

If they're just pants that are hanging around, I'll throw in a case or 2 of some jenny craige buds. No promises on the banana pants leaving though.

  3. Oh heaven forbid...you might actually have to attend class!?!?!?

unfortunately....yes :( During this semester, for the first time ever, I've actually gone more than a week without missing a class.

My school made it "illegal" to have websites dedicated to sharing notes because it was copyright infringement or something....so we just have a password protected site called www.freedrive.com that this girl hosts through facebook and you can only access it if you're a friend with her. Let see them shut that down :D

Her notes are so good that last year in biochem I got a 62 then a 48 without her notes, then a 90 and 85 with them. 75% of the classes uses them now too.

  4. I dunno how I missed the thread first time around.

The board came out sick !

    Bruce is incredible. Respect !

Looks like some wind, Glebster, time to figger out that kite.

I wish I could do anything but school right now. I got 3 tests next week (Biotech, drug literature and pharmacology) and that means my whole weekend is gone. Might not even go out tonight since I decided to go longboarding instead of studying one night, which set me back quite a bit.

Depending on how good my notes hook up is, my winter riding might only be kept to the weekends, which is something I'm not used to.

  5. I remember in 04 when Papi was like 0 and 34 and got a clutch walk off. I think my mind is actually really fuzzy about the details, but he seems to always come through. I bet the riots will be pretty tame this year. The celts one was a bit crazy though.

  6. oh i figured it was an inside joke. I have all her stuff. You should see my room. I even got her super collectors secret special edition "Like a Virgin" album. My Zune is gagging.

I don't know if I'm actually a T32 rider. I never attempted one of the initiation challenges: the penis tug-o-war. I think I'm gonna stay clear of that one.

  7. i forgot about that meat gate run, that day was nasty, rain, sleet, death cookies, fog, GLEB, ice, sugar piles, etc, etc! but cutting off those two nitwhits made my day! i wish you got her on the video freakin out.

btw, while you were farting around all day saturday making carvporn, i was pulling 3 a days in the mountains on exit 32. i even started this week out in the gym, with a 55 minute spin bike ride in the sauna and my mazuno sweat suit. nothin but heavy weights the rest of the week, with every suppliment that they make under the sun, going into my body.

    dtmfh guy!

I remember that run. I can be one of your biggest obstacles out there. I'm the reason you guys are as good as you are.

btw, squatting 250 now, and still working up. Lunging like crazy (you could bounce quarters off my ass), slalom skateing everyday, oiling up my Hestra golves, patching up the holes in my pants...I think I'm almost ready for some snow.

Glenn, sweet ride. I didn't know you liked Madonna too. We have much to talk about.

  8. wow i was looking back on this thread and didn't realize there were more responses.

fat old bastard, thanks, again, i just throught of the idea, and steve ran with it to bring it to life.

skategoat, steve is a magician. The $60 extra is so worth it. Still boggles my mind why more people don't do it.

Pow, yeah the queen is a little more appealing to the eye on my board, but I like it like that. Your board is sweet! We gotta ride this year.

b0ardski, that beard is way more outta control than the hat. Thats a good thing :biggthump

Surf Quebec, contact bruce about the pricing. I'm pretty sure it went up by about $100. But now that the American dollar is somehow gaining strength, you will probably end up paying exactly what I paid. I think when I got it, the dollar was 1 to 1 with the Canadian. Now the American dollar is 20% stronger. And wow, I'm dumb, you're in Canada, so ignore everything past the 1st sentence.

Shred, sorry bro, cats outta the bag. The wait will be months now. It just depends on how fast you guys can get the graphics to her. No fishing or golfing for me. I'll be sending bruce 250 emails a day, and giving www.snowboardmaterials.com an endless amount of stuff to print, just so you'll have to wait.

My next designs will be something along the lines of the biohazard sign combined with the nuclear symbol and what not. I'll figure it out. Its not like I'll need a new board for a while. When I do, I'll get Steve on the job.

  9. I think you should find an F2 Silberpfeil 172 and try it out until you know exactly what you want, THEN spring for a custom board. Its a really great all around board that can get you situated with alpine riding pretty well.

I had the funds after my first year of carving for a custom board, but I held off and got a bunch of production boards of all types, to see what I liked best. From there, I found my favorite boards (F2 Speedster RS and F2 Silberpfeil) and had Bruce from Coiler build me something right in between.

  10. Bob Dea sent this to me a little bit ago. I was totally blown away how comfortable these guys were on their boards. Its pretty inspiring too. I got into slalom this past summer, and I think next summer is time for some downhill bombing.

Good looking family (all 6 of you). Hey is that a shock collar they have on your left arm?

Thanks, I also have a sister but she was taking the picture. I stopped wearing shock collars a while ago. Its a Zune :)

Neil, she actually has her 2nd lesson today at the animal hospital. So far, we have her doing the basics (sit, lay down, roll over) and that was before we began the lessons. She's a little stubborn, and definitely a fighting dog. Thats one of the reasons we got her, so we could have someone that could wrestle with my roommates pitbull-boxer. They always have scratch marks all over each other.

She actually has more extra skin now than when we got her. She's a miniature, so hopefully, most of her wrinkles won't go away.

Aisling and carverchick, its the best $1200 i ever spent! but yeah, its a two person job to raise them at first, and being away all the time means you'll have to stick with a cat. Cats are cool, but not my thing.

Willy, Xaba looks pretty damn cute. Can't imagine the sounds the two make when they're wrestling.

Pebu, i love bigger dogs too, but its a bit hard in boston. I'd love to get a huskey or malamut, but not till i'm out of the city.

Steve, you're totally right. I just hope Adi likes the snow. She definitely is not a fan of hot weather and swimming, but theres still hope for snow.

As far as nip/tuck goes, she'd be 10 pounds lighter. Its hard holding her because she slides right through your hands. I love it!!!!!

  12. I couldn't quite get the hang of the hybrid since I came late and had a limited number of practice runs, but had a really good time at the GS! Till next year....

  13. Any chance of you posting a picture of yourself so we can see if there is any truth to dogs and master resembling each other.

Other than that, I hope I don't have that much skin in the next couple of years. It's already bad with the helmet chin strap. Good lookin' pup and should be an attention getter. Somehow, I don't think if I end up looking like that, that I'll be an attention getter.

    Neck exercises.

    n500839925_895189_5330.jpg

me with the parents and my sister's 2 dogs. I think I'm going to be able to keep the excess skin off of myself. No thanks on the neck exercises. Looks painful!

Its funny how if a dog has that much extra skin, its cute, but a human...then its repulsive. Whats up with the double standard!?

  14. yeah those timed exams can be a bit rough. My only goal is to be in the top of the bottom of my class. Thats how to do it, aim low...but i guess you can look high while doing it. Not really sure exactly what its supposed to mean, but I think i saw it on a shirt one time.

Yesterday me, ken and willy set up some cones at the Arboretum and now I'm feeling pretty good. Don't get to run cones too often, but every time I do, I notice a vast improvement.

Also, I'm on a 10 person waiting list for the sign up, and Brian said they're probably going to let everyone race. So still not too late to sign up!

  15. guy, even though I used to street sk8 & had a halfpipe in my backyard as a young punk sid vicious wannabe...I ain't stepping foot on a sk8board this close to the start of the season. 18 months out from my crash...my pelvis finally feels 100%.:biggthump I've been training like a fkn Olympian!!! I'm soooo ready for snow!!!!

yeah we need to get on the PTC thing. we probably have at least 10 boards between all of us going down there.

Frost warning for tonight!! We're inching closer......

I hear ya. You couldn't pay me to get on a half pipe though. I was carving up the bosotn common with a friend last night with a hoody on and it was still almost too cold. Almost time!

you guys wish you had a board as sweet looking as mine. Maybe one day you'll be able to see into the beauty that steve fleck has bestowed upon the hills.

team 32 should make an appearance at Antrium in 2 weekends (19-21). Gonna be a good time.

Congrats on the new boards. Its gonna be a sweet display at the bunyan. Is there a PTC group discount?
