  1. its true. I got outta bed like 3 hours late for my 8 am class. My leading ass cheek (left) is a lil bruised up. Guess I can't do my mankini spreads for FHM for a few weeks.

I was falling less near the end of the day. It was hurting too much to get up so I tried harder to fall. My arms are even sore from getting up all the time. I stayed till closing because I knew I'd regret every run I didn't take while studying.

At the end of each run I was puffing like an obese football player after cleaning up the KFC buffet. I'll be in better shape next time you see me.

Back I go to an adderall induced 8 hour study marathon. Yay for drugs!

  2. wow no one is going to help him out? I'd do it in a sec if I lived there. I like teaching and spreading the stoke of carving. If you're ever in NH, VT, ME or boston area, let me know and I'll ride with you.

Get in contact with Dave ESPI and POW. They're at jimminy peak all the time. If they don't need a lift ticket for whatever reason, it is customary to bring beer.

  3. awesome first day. The snow got better in the afternoon. I have full faith in the coiler now. Some of the fastest carving I've done up till now...not that fast, but fast for me. I think I'll need a cane for tomorrow.

    Good seeing ya JD.

Enzo, the madd is unreal. Holds as well as the coiler, just makes you work more.

My next trip up north will be in 2 weekends. Finals are gonna rape me. I'll be walking weird until new years till the tears heal.

  4. I've been always riding flat in the front and around 3-6 in the back. My burton race plates came with the disk pictured in thor's post and that thing lines me up just right.

Maybe once this rain goes away, I'll use my cateks and try some lift in the front.

48* and rain for the next 24 hours :AR15firin

  5. I really liked how you could ride for a half hour straight and see the weather and condition changes throughout the run. The flashiness of the graphics was pretty sweet too. One thing I never got the sense of is speed, like in some sections of Coolboarders 2 where you hit 89 mph and then could stop and turn on a dime as long as you use the square. Good times.

Coolboarders 3 was completely different and I remember loving that game too. They had slalom on it too. Plus, the tricks were infinitely easier to do than in the 2nd one.

  6. Here we have a Madd BX 168 with carbon butterfly. Gonzo was his name-o. This board has alot of history. According to the last owner, it is from the original line of their BX boards. It eventually made its way to me and since I got to use it, the value probably shot up ten fold :D

It was most likely part of the demo fleet, which is why it cannot have any more base grinds. There is plenty of edge left and it will need a tune before its ready for the snow.

I bought this here for 350 a few years back. I put a bunch of days on this until I grew into my F2 183 2 seasons ago. It saw 2 runs last season so its time to pass it off to someone who has more use for it.

Its used but still very ride-able. Its soft for me at 180ish pounds, but maybe it just doesn't suit my riding style. Still holds really well on ice. plenty of life left in it. 1 cm of camber left. As mentioned above, definitely cannot have any more base grinds since it was a demo board and I'm sure its had its share of grinds where the next one would put a hole where the inserts are.

I get more "ooos and ahhs" while in the lift line on this board than I do with my new coiler. Its a real eye catcher.

The topsheet is flawless except for 2 cosmetic marks from where the carbon chipped a bit. Purely cosmetic and doesn't affect the riding and integrity of the board at all. Also, the usual binding marks are there as expected.

The base is smooth with no gouges (just minor scratches) and is covered with storage wax right now.

$120 plus shipping will put this baby underneath your feet.

WOW! good job steve. Thats sick! whens this bad boy gonna be done?

  8. A grand is not something I'd like to spend on a collectible that I'll most likely destroy in the first day. :smashfrea

I have bad luck with boards starting to delam, or running over a rock or something. I still can't believe no one has grabbed that.

  9. Oops i think i missed that. Kinda a late night for me. What did you have in mind? I'm not sure of the value at all. I know if you put it up on ebay, people will go crazy for it there. I've seen one for over 250, which i saw people saying was too much. Give it a shot there though.

It looks pristine, actually. Put something like "Rare near mint semi-vintage race board-aggression"

    that'll get people's attention.
