  1. I was up there today and it wasn't too bad considering the rain, warm weather, and huge holes in snow coverage. There was maybe 100 people total on the whole mountain. Going tomorrow, saturday and sunday as well.

Couldn't believe that my first tests were pretty much over and that I was finally on the mountain. I had alot of ground to make up, so I had McDonalds for breakfast, lunch (we took a quick drive down the road) and dinner, and I wish I was joking. I think I'm going to start tapering off my McDonalds consumption.

  2. we meet at the South Peak now for crepes and omelets. 7:30 sharp.

the mtn is looking more like late march than early Feb. have fun avoiding the thin cover and choc chips with that fresh ptc tune.

crepes and omelets? No thanks, I'll be full from my 6 hash browns, 2 coffees and a large milk shake McDonalds breakfast. I could bring you guys some...or are you guys trying to watch your girlish figures?

Its looking that bad? I guess I'll pass on PTC till the next storm...

  3. BTW, I think i saw Gleb skiing moguls in a bananna costume at copper on saturday. He's a better skier that I would have thought.

It is true. I probably ski more than I ride, especially on my trips out west that I take every other week or so. I get free plane tickets from all the skymiles I've earned from buying a lifetime supply of fluff and peanut butter.

FH--congrats on the board. just stay clear of Banana Hammock Boy & McChattaStache. there's a 98.7% chance your board will either be chipped or scratched by one of them in the first week of ownership. :AR15firin:freak3:

Bananna-Fluff offers a 100% wreck your sh8T guarantee. He holds an insurance policy backed by the the rock of mackenzie.

They're actually speaking the truth for once.

Banana suit is coming out for this weekend. Will also be there thursday. Whats the turn around on a PTC tune?

  4. can ya score me some vivitrol ?

Never even heard of it called that, but naltrexone (the actual chemical) was all over my test. Know it better than I know my name. We don't stock vivitrol in our pharmacy, but do have a similar drug that has naloxone in it combined with buprenorphine called Suboxone used for detox of heroin and other similar drugs (oxycontin). Any reason you need it? Trying to kick an old habit? :p

You should've seen all the facebook statuses of people in my class from this past week. All of them (including mine) made it seem like the world was going to end because of our 5 tests in 8 days schedule. One more to go then I'm back on the slopes!!!!!! Wachusett wednesday anyone?

  5. My violations won't stand in court. The all yellow represents a name no one has lived up to on the ice, in terms of being able to throw a punch. The judge will throw out that case before you take your second sip of your wine cooler.

You know the saying, "If you love something, let it go. If it comes back, its meant to be." Well, I think Bruce would end up hanging onto it when he sees it and I can't run that risk.

  6. Who took that pic? Judging by the way I'm dressed, you can tell I absolutely kick ass in the steeps, the trees, on the ice and even in the pipe. Remember, snowboarding is 90% about how you look in the lodge or lift line. Definitely taken on saturday since by 2:30, i was riding solo because everybody was "too cold."

Glenn, if beer for life is all it takes, I think I can do that. I can get you something that will make a 30 rack last you a month.

Best day of riding that I've had in a while. I moved my stance in around 2:30 and kept trying to do what you guys were telling me. Felt awkward, but taking another look at the video of me from saturday, its alot clearer for me what I'm doing wrong. I gotta align my cants differently, because my right hip was killing me after, even though I didn't take any diggers. Thanks for the tips :biggthump

Enzo, i'll post up the links to download the vids tonight. The files aren't too big.

I'm officially out for about 3 weeks, not 2. 5 exams in 8 school days means I'll be in an adderall coma for a bit. 20 exams, and then summer! Ride a few counter rotated runs for me next weekend.

  7. I highly, highly recommend shintronics. I haven't ridden a day without them since I got them sometime last year...or maybe 2 years ago. It'll take a day or 2 for your muscles to get used to them, or at least it did for me. It allows me to deliver more power into the boot.

edit: wow i should really read the posts ahead of mine...Thats too bad that they don't ship to the US anymore. Its a quality product.
