  1. I don't know what eaglez's problem with Dave and Andrea is? I've bought items from YYZ and never had an issue. In fact their service and responses were first rate. I wish more retailers had their attitude and were as helpful as they were.
  2. Ken rides at MSLM. He's there every morning until maple syrup time starts. He rides with Imo, who you might have met at Osler. Both of them ride home made boards and both of them rip it up big time. Two of the best riders that I've seen.
  3. I just went into the basement and put a true bar on my Gladiator. I have almost 1mm of gap starting just in front of the front binding and going almost all the way to the back of the board. Also have the most binding suck that I have ever had on a board. Having said all that, I still love the way this board rides. The concave base hasn't been an issue. I agree with Chris, don't worry about it just ride and enjoy.
  4. Aggression became Volant. Both use a stainless steel topsheet.
  5. "Pam" cooking spray. It works like silicone spray but is biodegradeable.
  6. I have #003, also in carbon. You're in for a fun ride. I've got a few days on mine now and it feels better each time I go out on it. Enjoy.
  7. Thanks for organizing a great day. It was a treat to be able to ride at Osler and the best way to spend a Friday that I can think of.
  8. Chris H and I should be arriving around 8:30. Imo is also planning on getting there by 8:30.
  9. We went to Moosefest last year. Great times. We normally paddle the Gull or the Ottawa.
  10. Went to MSLM on Sunday. Conditions were pretty good considering all the rain. Better than last Saturday and about the same as last Sunday. Not a problem holding an edge.
  11. Derf, I have used the OS2's for about four days now and I find that I like them better than my Olympics. They are much lighter in weight and have a softer feel to them. They do feel a bit damper than the Olympics but not quite as much as my TD2's with the Uber Yellow rings. All great bindings, just different in how they feel in regards to dampening.
  12. Add one more, Imo from MSLM will be coming. His computer is down so he asked me to put his name on the list.
  13. Thanks for setting this up. Count me in for one person.
  14. There is an instructor at MSLM that is one of the better carvers that I have seen. Ask for Imo. He is there every morning ripping it up and although I haven't seen him do a carving lesson he is one of their instuctors and does teach soft boot and skiing.
  15. Any of those Fridays would be good.
