  1. ya, as soon as i saw the rain i thought snow. Last year it snowed around this time but started really accumulating in mid october. I rode Squaw on Halloween last year, epic! can't wait till it opens this year -Rob
  2. Dude, i wouldnt ride that for anything. I dont think it is possible to fix a cracked board, but even if you could jerry rig something, it is pretty sketch.
  3. I have an old Dakine that worked really well, except that it is supersmall (only fits a 160), and also it doesnt hold anything other than the board itself. Do you guys have any suggestions for bags that can hold multiple boards, can fit a Boardercross board as well as a SL and GS, and will hold up? I was looking at the Burtons, they look pretty sick, but dont really have any clue if they are good or not. Thanks, Rob
  4. Damnn!!! Good job Garret, thats sick. Kill it in the rest of the races...
  5. Thanks, i'll check Donek out I remember your 210 from the Race to the Cup at Squaw, that thing is a beast. If I haven't gotten a board by the time your hip has gotten better I might take you up on the coiler, but until then healing vibes! -Rob
  6. Hey, I am going to have to get a new GS board this year and I dont really know what to get. I train at squaw and am going to try to race some more sl and gs this year. My coach, mort, has talked about Reality 1 boards, but i dont know if those are actually being made yet... Does anybody have any suggestions for a good level GS race board if that doesnt work out? I am looking for a 172ish size with a 20 inch waste if possible. Thanks, -Rob
  7. Hey, I am looking to buy a Burton cant plate for Burton race bindings. Just the 6 degree (i think that is what it is) cant. All the hardware and stuff has to be included. Thanks, Rob
  8. I had a clean snap of the collar bone last year, and was riding cautiosly in two weeks, then raced at Western Regionals for boardercross in three weeks.
  9. No you didn't leave them out don't worry, my friend had an extra cant possibly but no hardware. If you have any of those screws that would be great though!
  10. Where can you get a set of screws that screw Burton Race Plates into the cants?
  11. Coldrider: Would you be willing to sell those burton race plates by themselves, and if you are what year and model are they? Thanks
  12. Looking for the newer model (red, four holes.) Must have all parts and hardware. Thanks!
  13. I use the Grand Prix gloves with Mink Oil in them and they work really well. Also, leather works the best, so for cold days I use an Analog glove with knuckle guards that are sick for sbx.
  14. We (Squaw Team) don't train on mondays, but Squaw is a great mountain to ride, a lot of steep groomers. Squaw is also not as crowded as most of the other mountains but it is expensive. Alpine has cheaper lift tickets but is more crowded and not as big.
  15. I think that East Coast Guy is Chelone Miller, he kills it. The Jeep King of the Mountain events are always won by hardbooters if you count that as a boardercross event.
  16. Mort's my coach, last year he used a Prior with a rounded tail, so he could race hard boots. The guy in that picture at Bachlor was a gnarly Italian guy, him and Mort were the only guys on hardboots. He'll be coming to nationals this year if he has time to do the local comps, but he won one of the alpine events last year so I guess that gives him an automatic go.
  17. How long does it take for USSA to post the results for the race? Nice super G board by the way, that thing was sick.
