  1. Thanks! It has been snowing almost constantly in the past few days. More runs open on Keystone site. Most have been epic today - about a foot of new snow ...... :).

    A-Basin

Anyone wants to post conditions there :)?
  3. Back to Keystone - 12/26 to 1/5. From what I see, I guess we need to bring the rock boards :(, but it has been snowing good for the past few days. Hope to have a bit more new snow. I don't believe it'll be any good for the trees, but if only they open the back........ Otherwise, there is always spring break :). Millen
  4. Thinking of Alpine for Tuesday...... will see if worth opening the season there prior to 10 days at Keystone for New Years :). If I decide to go, will post on Monday. Millen
  5. Somebody must be working on his boards at home. This is really a bargain. On Amazon they are $72 a piece :).

  7. Sorry. It was a long shot. Hope you find them though.
  8. Hmmm, I wonder, are these the same as the forward lean mechanism on old Burton hard boots (Fire, Reactor, etc.....)?
  9. Dude, you were not alone........ at least for a little while :D. Nice riding with you. We have done 10 days total in Keystone and it was great. Leaving back to Chicago today :(. Millen
  10. Hi, did you ever find boots? I had assembled a pair of Burton Reactor shells , size 27.5 - 29.0 with Deeluxe liners, Mondo 28. Someone was going to take them and bailed out. We are going to Granite Peak, Wisconsin over the MLK Day weekend. I can throw them in the car and you could try them on the slope (provided you are within a reasonable distance from GP). Let me know. Thanks! Millen
  11. ....and this is the Monster ;), right? Going to Granite Peak this weekend - with my Monster :).
  12. Hi all, anyone thinking of going there? We were there just after New Years and for my surprise - I saw at least 4 hardbooters (I was on a softie :(). Also, although, I didn't see it in action, there was a SG Raceboard sitting on the rack by the lodge (there was some regional race that weekend). It's going to be fun to ride there. Post here or just show up at GP, it's not such a big place to miss another hardbooter :).
  13. One of my absolute favorites at Vail was a freshly groomed Riva Ridge, early morning on a sunny day. It's a very long run and if you have legs to do it, it's awesome :). As short runs - all the coffee runs are good, I forgot what was the run at chair 11, but it was also very good.
  14. Thanks. Not that I am the soft boot wiz, I have done that for only 4 days now ;), but my feel is that heel lift is not a prominent issue with soft set up, as opposed to hard. I will keep an eye on it. Also, I have molded the Driver X liners and they seem to keep the heel very well in place. Just FYI, the DYI for molding the Deeluxe liners here seems to work on these Burton liners as well :).
  15. OK, I have done the hard boot sizing long time ago. Surprisingly for me at the time, my true size was around Mondo 27.5. At the time, my current hard boots were Mondo 29! Now I am in Deeluxe 700, shell size 27 and liner 27.5. Now, when I tried to size myself for soft boots, I thought the same rules apply as well. For a foot size 27.6 cm, I bought (thinking it might be even big) Burton boots size Mondo 28 or US 10. They are tight! Really! I couldn't ride for more than a couple of hours at the time. I got the next size 28.5/US 10.5 and they feel awesome. On the other hand, here is what Burton themselves recommend - http://www.ridealer.com/Burton-Driver-X-2014-3.html. According to the chart, you have to go to the bigger size. I just want to see what other people have experienced. Obviously, one goes with what feels best........ at the time :). Thanks!
  16. Dave, e-mail sent. I will ship them today and give you the total. Thanks! Millen
  17. Sorry guys, haven't checked the forum as much lately. $80 + shipping and we have a deal. MacSkiddin (hopefully, soon to be MacCarvin ;)) is first and if he passes, Robin will take them. Best to contact - e-mail. Thanks! Millen

  19. Look me up, I have two sets listed - 27.0 and 28.0. Also have Burton Reactor shells 27.5 - 29.0 which can go with the liner.

  21. Hmm, can we work something out for trade? I need a TD3 2nd board kit and I do have the regular TD3 upper bodies sitting unused.
