  1. Didn't get the email. Please try again, Bill
  2. If the other deals don't work out, I'm interested - no haggling! email me, Bill
  3. Scott I only have a couple of days on my 188 Burner, but: Both plates (TD2's) in the middle of the pack with front at 67deg and 6cant; rear at 58deg and 3cant. Stance feels great. More important, I have near infinite confidence in the edge. Been carving well for 2-3yrs. With the Burner I'm able to get all the way down "and" fully extend with much greater consistency......seems effortless all the way down the run. Fairly long board and more difficult to manuver when slow - no big deal. Not fun when in bumps or soft runs that get skied-up. I use similar setup on other boards (favored Oxygen in the past) just moved the center for balance. For the Swoard, been using the Swoard/Extreme Carving recomended setup. Center again, No cant, and less angle ~ 60 & 50 . Haven't quite mastered their technique - doing well with slight variations of mine. Comfortable but wider stance (I haven't bothered to measure) carves very well and really shines in varying conditions. On the groom I can get as low as the burner, but it takes more effort and doesn't feel quite as solid.....If I could only have one board the Swoard would be great and I can make it work almost anywhere. Only had it for half of this season so still adjusting. Suggestions welcome. I'm the only local carver, northern WI. I make it west a couple weeks a year. Everything to this point is self taught. Next year planning for an extended vacation 4-5 weeks in the Vail area and of coarse SES. See some of you there!
  4. Sorry Mats! Realized my mistake as I posted! Tried emailing through your site more than a week ago, no response...I'll try thru BOL.
  5. Great info all! I bought the 188 Burner I fell in love with. Works best with good groom. As the day progresses I switch to my Swoard - it seems to handle almost any condition I find short of deep powder. I'd be looking to the AlpinePunk splittail for the hero carves - I seem to be able to rail the my burner with greater confidence, full extension lay-out turns. I'm sure it is set-up/technique dependent, but the splittail burner really works for me! Feedback appreciated. Mats: Are you selling the Alpinepunks???????
  6. I just discovered the Burners and love 'em. Rode a 188 Burner for a couple of days. Anyone have experience with the Alpinepunk version???
  7. I've let others pass with regret! Email me to discuss details. Regards Bill
  8. I'll be looking for you! Went yesterday. They have very impressive snowmaking considering only a couple days of cold weather and no natural snow. Unfortunately, only a couple runs open. But quite adequate for some early season carving. Nature should be more help this week. I'll have a yellow and black jacket with black helmet - likely the only one carving. Do my best to be out for first tracks/trenches. Bill
  9. As mentioned, I live right on Granite Peak - you can see my house as you ride up the 6pax hi-speed lift. Just moved in this summer and cleared the trail so I can walk thru my backyard and get on the hill right under the lift. I divide my time between Hard boots (My primary love!), Tele ski's, and now a Teleboard this year. Gave-up the alpine skis many years ago. Just moved to the area couple years ago. Hard to beat Granite Peak in the Midwest. I have young children so unable to go as much as I wanted last year. Will be out several times a week this year. Any carvers visiting the area would be a welcome change. Didn't ride with any last year. Let me know, Bill
  10. I live on Granite Peak and would love to link up with some carvers! Let me know dates and I'll do my best to welcome all. They opened today. I'll post again when I have a chance to go and report on conditions. Looks busy from my window. Bill
  11. Just need the plastic......I'll take both! Let me know how I can send funds.
  12. Does any one have a Burton Race Plate toe-bail/lever? A recent thread yielded the parts, can anyone else help me out? I use these for my old crud and powder board - they didn't hold up under this very mild use but would rather not buy a new setup.
  13. Interested in the 185! How much shipped to 54455? How would you like to arrange payment? Thanks
