Man, if .951 was B shell, I would have bought it. I like the 1st gen logo better. This is a killer price!!!

Oxess can have board with multiple inserts. You just have to tell Marcel that you want multiple inserts. He can place it however you want stance to be.
standard is 50cm but I have all of my board at 47cm for center ones.

Thanks for all the info. I haven't decided where to live exactly but more than likely around Minneapolis downtown as I need to be within 20-30min driving from my work.
Sounds like there are better carving near Duluth. I don't think I can go to week days unless at night. Maybe buckhill may be a good options for that for a quick dose of riding.
Has anyone tried "Indy Pass"? it seems to be great options to try different areas around MN (2 days free for each partner resort + 50% discount for rest?)

Hello,
I am moving to Minneapolis from Colorado in summer 2024 for 2 years and wondering where is the best carving mountain within 2 to 2.5 hours from Minneapolis. I am keeping my IKON pass for annual Aspen trip but was wondering if it was worth it to look into any season passes for surrounding local hills.
I noticed that some mountain (maybe only Welch?) do 3-day-use-it-any-day pass for good price.
Thank for the info!

It was nice to see you, @Lil Cybe! You are really getting the hang of Skwal.
Usual Sunday copper crew went to Steamboat for 10-13” of powder and it didn’t disappoint! It was endless powder anywhere you went in the trees. We all got stuck along the day and I was in waist high snow at one point. I had to climb out of it…… oh and there was endless traffic on the way back too as all the pass closed. I had enough powder for the season…
Many of us are at Copper on Sunday so come by and say hello!!! (We tend to stick to just super bee and/or main vein)

are you regular or goofy? right boot has a much stiffer forward spring. You have softer springs than yellow on the rear SPRING. Did you find the yellow rear spring too stiff? trying to set up mine. The red seems too stiff on the front but the blue seems too soft for me. Have not messed with the rear yellow spring.
I am regular. I have stiffest spring on the rear boot.
i prefer the softer spring on rearward flex. It is not much of difference but my caf feels more comfy. It is nice when I use it for powder set up. It is more hassle to change those than forward flex so I just kept it as softer set up.
I am not sure which MS boots you have but I have 100 with World Cup tongue and the tongue makes a big difference. I love the lateral flex on 100.
I also relocated the top buckle as I ride narrower birds (15.5cm and 16.5cm)

UPDATE:
23-24’ season will be my 7th season riding this boot (I preordered it before it was even out in 2017) and there is no other boot that I like to ride/carve than MS .951
- Flex is as consistent as the boots gonna get in different temperature
- very easy to change the flex of tongue, springs
- maintenance and fix is easy with parts which are available. It can also be swapped with some ski boots buckles with light modification
- I just love it! Worth every penny

I am glad both @slapos and @Chris C were relatively ok!! That video is a classic example of stupid people doing, stupid things.
@Chris C, When you get better and ready, please let me know! In recent years, I came to realization that no matter the rule or enforcement, I cannot fix stupid and all I can do is change my ride and look the rear every 2 turns. It helped me to see the straight liner wearing football jersey on Rosi's Run at Copper Mtn .......... I tends to stay away from people who has sports jersey...... I still don't see how this is "cool"
Maybe I need small camera facing rearwards .. "Ski Dash Cam"

I use SG binding and uses the following:
narrow board (<18.5cm width):
Front = toe lift block with inward cantRear = heel lift block only
board >19cm width:
Front = toe lift block with inward cant
Rear = heel lift block with inward cant
Pow board (26.5cm): the angles of bindings are a lot lower than alpine boards**
Front = toe lift block with inward cant
rear = only inward cant (no heel lift)
it also depends on the stance and I prefer narrow stance at 47cm on Alpine boards and 46cm on powder bord. It all depends on what you like. Everyone is different and the one works for me probably won’t work for you.

UPM? Hmm.....looks like UPM but what UPM plate uses the center hole inserts that are on the board??
I believe Vist does…. I remember seeing older video that explains where to bolt on and included the center hole….

I'm interested in these boots, but I'm not sure how the shell/liner size thing works. I need a 28.5 liner, which your shell size seems right for. Yet, you're a 29.5, so, would I be swimming in these things with the 28.5?
You shouldn’t be as long as you use proper sizing liner.
For example, I am 25.5 mondo size and I use B shell. It is a perfect fit for me and not swimming at all.
I hope this helps!

Just now seeing this! Holy Skwal Yami!
Do you need a Lethal Weapon License to unleash that beast on the slopes??
What bindings and angles you gotta run on that rocket??
I don’t know the exact angle bc I am passed the max number but I am guesstimating at 75 front/75 rear.
I relocated my front foot’s MS boots buckles to accommodate the narrow board and it has worked out quite well.
My other board is 155mm width so this is wider I really like this riding position.
