  3. Son Billy has qualified for Junior World Championships in China, one of only 3 U.S. men to do so. We've started a crowdfunding campaign to get him there. Thanks to all who passed the hat at the SES banquet, where $791.00 kicked off the drive! Here's the link: https://www.rallyme.com/rallies/1456/billys-fund

  5. ...I think I know the answer to this already, but, we just built a mini skate ramp in the driveway, and I'm wondering if I need every kid who comes over to use it to have their parents sign some kind of legal release or disclaimer, or would a warning sign do with a list of rules and "use at your own risk" wording. I always think of the worst case scenario, which scares the hell out of me ib this case! Any lawyers out there care to chime in? Thanks in advance!
  6. Not only that, but the age slot is only two years for most disciplines, which with the games being held every four years leaves a lot of kids out. LIKE MINE!!!! BX slot is ages 17 and 18 and my kids will be 16 and 19 in 2016.
  7. Yeah!!! Two hardbooters had the two fastest times coming from the 14 and over division. Fortysomthing Kevin Eisenman (Ice), and my athlete Christian DeOliveria age 14, were 1st and 2nd respectively to pace the field including the entire Open division which included Ross Powers, Hagen Kearney, Jonathan Cheever, and Lindsey Jacobellis. Granted, it wasn't the best Banked Slalom course; kinda low banks, but still... great to see hardbooters represent. Billy Winters got on the podium in 2nd in that stacked Open field, and Cody Winters in the 10-13 division would have podiumed in 3rd with his time.
