  2. They actually have an article about glenwood springs and sunlight in the current Issue of ski magazine. Didn't have time to read it yet.

When I was in glenwood last winter, didn't bother to go to sunlight with Aspen a few minute drive more !

  3. I'm looking for ideas for this year's trip. Obviousely money is an issue so I'm looking on people to share your experiences on good trips that are worth the money or some that are really not worth the money and time.

Last year I went to Aspen / highlands / buttermilk , it was great but Aspen isn't really cheap on the cheap side. Thanks a lot to JoelP lodging was cheap but beautiful and knowing which run to do was priceless. Had a great time and it was more than worth every single dollars.

So I'm looking for a place (first week of march) that has

    good grooming

    good vertical

    good challenging terrain

    decent pricing lodging

easy travel from airport to Mountain,

    access to food / grocery.

I'll be most likely traveling alone again so I don't need big fancy hotels... a place to crash that is clean with TV makes me happy.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

    Thanks

  4. I have a pair of AF600 been riding them for 4 seasons now 30-35 days a season. I was wondering what is the typical life of a boot ? Should I start thinking about a replacement? They are in good shape, no holes in the liner or cracks in boots.

Its fun to change boards but boots isn't something I'm really looking forward to change. They are very comfy.

    Thanks for the info

    Ernie

  6. My best day carving was definitaly at Aspen ridding buttermilk with Joel. My first trip to the rockies and it was just perfect, mild weather, lots of sun, lots of grooming, no one on the hills and good beer !

The other best day was Valentines' day dump at Jay peak with my students. What a great day riding pow with the kids ! We just started school yesterday and the kids at school are still talking about that day! For lots of them powder consisted of 1-2 inches... now they know what it is and they want more.

  7. I'm selling my madd 158

The board was bought new at the end of the 2005 season from madd. There was no flex back then so it's the equivalent of an F2. The board has been used only a few times and it's in great shape. I'm like 99.9% of the people here on bomber I take very very good care of my boards. It's already tuned for the next season waxed (protective coat for the summer) and edges are sharps and it's never been grounded or on any machines

The board is in showroom condition.

    350 US + shipping
