I got this today by e-mail. Might help some of you, I didn't read it all.

I find the plate very forgiving compared to others I have tried. I find that I can ride pretty mellow if I want to with it, but I rarely choose to ! hehe.
Yesterday was an awfull day after a raining weekend and everything froozed up, probably the worst I have seen in a few years. So it was icy + golf balls + tennis balls and many many craters. Definitaly not nice but I was there with my students. Thank God no one got injured, I was really worried. Some of the runs should have been closed. With the plate and very very good tune I was able to carve. It was scary fast !

Tu as fait le loctite? tu as essayer l'autre liner?

Good find wow. I hope you get it back. It's nice to see bomber crew on the lookout for each other.

Ya des montagnes au minnesota ? ;)

Je vois que tu as step in.

if you can get your hand on a Kyber I would recommend it. I really enjoy it. Obviousely this is my Pow board with hard boots but I have started to taking this board hard more and more since my boy 4 is now skiing on his own and I don`t have to ski anymore. I can carve it well at low speed and we can go play wherever we want. It`s a big wide board but it does the job.

As Lowrider says. I have a big padded Oakley wheel bag, I get 2 boards in + my clothing so I only have to check in 1 piece of luggage. I use cardboard at the end of the boards and clothing for extra padding. I've seen ski bags in edmonton fall down from a truck while it was carried to the plane. Ne reassuring.
I've always checked in my ski boots as carry on and never had any problems. Reduce the weight of my luggage and I know I will have my boots. Boards and bindings are easy to find, boots that fit properly, not so easy.

takes a good 2-3 weeks to get to the states with the cutsoms (specially with the holidays)... it`s normal that it takes time. No worries.

I can`t find it, it was there last night?

doesn't look normal at all. Can you feel the bump?. One of the main problem with stone or belt grinder is the operator. Trust me I know I used one in a ski shop and before tuning real ski and board I had to practice on rock skis many times. Now when I need a structure or flatten the base I only use the automated machines it takes the human error out of the way. Unless the guy is a complete idiot and doesn't know how to operate the machine, they punch in the computer what you want and the machine does the job. There are a few here in Laval / Montreal area. One of they really does a great job and most of the time he lets me stick me head almost in the machine ! :)

I agree with Lowrider, I was amazed to see in Aspen how well the runs stayed even with 2 days without grooming.
Here in the east we can't get away with that. Even more, some mountain groom twice a day other wise the mountain is impossible to ride and it's not a matter of preference.
Isabelle if you can find a local carver they will take you to the best run. That is your best bet.
