  1. I'm looking for the plastic heel-block cover for an old Burton rat-trap step-in, like the one shown in the picture. I think this is the first generation step-in with the metal toe block. The part from the later model, which has a plastic toe block, won't fit. Thanks in advance to anyone who might have some old parts lying around. ....Wolf
  2. If these are the ones with a metal plate on the backside under the plastic, I'll take 'em. I'll send you an email. ....Wolf
  3. Well hopefully, unless that Nigerian wire transfer deal falls through :) , the FP 173 and Burton plates should be on their way to me. I hope to get them in time for the weekend. ....Wolf
  4. Interested in the Burton and/or the Oxygen. Email sent. ....Wolf
  5. Gavin, The board and bindings arrived today. I'm really happy. In 80 characters or less feedback mode: "Fantastic seller. Great item and A+ packaging. Never been happier!" Thanks again. ....Wolf
  6. I'm interested in the FP 172. I'll send you an email. ....Wolf
  7. Chris, I'll take the plates if you don't have a buyer yet. Sent you an email. ....Wolf
  8. I'm painfully cheap at times, and I have two stomp pad methods that I use: 1. Double-face Scotch tape sticks well enough to hold a sheet of material to a board. I have an old 1/4 inch thick foam typewriter pad that I've cut into stomp pads and held with the tape. They've stayed stuck for several sessions of riding, but also come off easily if you want them out of the way. 2. Walmart ('the evil empire") sells 2mm thick self-stick foam sheets in the arts and crafts department. Comes in various colors including black. This stuff sticks very well and makes a stomp pad just as good as the ones you can buy. I forget the price, but it's cheap, maybe a dollar or so for a 9x12 inch sheet. ....Wolf
  9. LambertoMI , Are you looking for Burton step ins like these? I have this set that I got a local swap meet. They look like they may never have been used. ....Wolf
  10. I'm interested in the race plates. I'll send you an email. ....Wolf
  11. The seller send me some pics and I'm tempted, but not ready to buy yet. In fairness to him, I'm bumping this back up in case anyone else is interested in the board. ....Wolf
  12. I'm interested. I'll send you an email in hour or so when I get to my home computer.

Got one - sent you an email. ....Wolf
  17. Gregg - that sounds great. I do remember you. I haven't been to Mills in a while, pretty set in my ways: "I make ruts on Shredder on Sunday morinings".
  18. I make ruts on Shredder (BW) on Sunday mornings. Least crowded time of the week. dbrsb - I saw your son last Sunday. I happened to be on the same board that day. I heard one of his times on the PA system. Sounded like one of the better ones. If you come out on a Sunday you can't miss me. ....Wolf ..also see my "most pitiful web page in the world" at www.gosnowgo.com. But I warned you, it's pathetic!

    wtb: 27.5 boots

I have some new Burton Wind boots, size 27 and 28. Sorry, no 27.5. Sent you an email in case you're interested. I'll put them in the classifieds in a couple of days otherwise. ....Wolf
  21. I just got a good deal on some brand new Raichle boots, size 26.5. They're coming by mail, and due to Easter travel I won't be able to try them on until around April 12. Boots-by-mail is always a gamble, so if they turn out too small for me they might be perfect for you. My foot measures 26.5 and I wear a 8.5 shoe most of the time. I didn't pay much, and would just want to get $48 plus shipping if I resell them. I can let you know after Easter if you are still looking for boots then. Or you can email me through my profile if you want to stay in touch. ....Wolf

  23. Eddie, I think maybe you're dividing by the 43mm number (aka 4.3 cm) that you called the sidecut depth. You should be dividing by half of that number because you want the sidecut on just one side of the board, not the difference in widths between the ends and waist. Jack - I think you're saying that the length on which to base the sidecut radius calculation is a little less than the length between widest points? Another factor is that I read somewhere that most boards have a more complex curve to the sidecut than just a simple radius, so this is all approximate anyway. ....Wolfgang
  24. I worked out the same equation myself a while back, and it matches the equation you found. But I get one half the radius you get when I plug in the numbers: 16.5 meters. Did you use half of the running length for d, and divide by twice the sidecut depth? I've used the same equation to estimate sidecut radius on some of my boards and it seems to give believable numbers. I remember getting a little under 9 meters for my old 156 Burton Alp and somewhere around 12 meters for a 167 Factory Prime which sounds about right. ....Wolfgang
