  1. Just be happy you were not there... everythihng can be replaced. Dude! Is that white stuff what I think it is?! Oh my god man; this is PURE SNOW, do you have any idea what the street value of this mountain is!? We're Rich!! Hahaha..... Thats from booger... in better of dead... I have that on VHS..now if I had a vhs player. The best line is.. something to the effect... "if something gets in your way... turn"
  2. on topic another sticker "I smack you head, you smack my stick in line" Or "Hey Now!" Some will get the reference. I personally think 3 stooges had some great one. If this was my place, I'd throw ya out of it!" - Moe (WHOOPS, I'M AN INDIAN!, 1936) I'm trying to think, but nothing happens! - Curley
  3. just a big florecent sticker that says "get outta me way"
  4. http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=risethefenix&iid=7193282936&ssPageName=VIP:feedback:2:us Thats the guy who sold 16/17 boots you can contact him mabey.
  5. My cousin is a size 17... There is a guy on ebay that sells size 16/17 soft boots and another that sells 16/17 ski boots. just type in ebay "snowboard 17* boot" or "snowboard 16* boot" and if save it as a favorite search. The boot are nice. Not great. I think they are snowpro ? Next you will want tech-9 XL bindings. (go to size 17) My cousine uses my old k2 magma v10. I had to put a differnet strap on it though. then any wide board will do. My cousin has a 172 RIDE something or other. and the waxing the bottom of the boots and sliding down the mountain joke gets old to big footed people...It took us 2 years to find snowboad boots. I think they cost 180$ .. probally only really a 100$ boot. thank g*d im a 28 shell.
  6. my cousin has some Tech9s with the baltimore cap... he says they are Ok. like the flows better (toe drags a little). My big hangup with the flows is my foot falls asleep cause I cant loosten it up on a long lift ride. K2 has a new one out there that looks really good
  7. I have flows on my powderboard. Make life a lot nicer... I dont like to carve on them I almost came out the binding once. They are good
  8. I have the 164 also.. great board... stiff and turns really tight. its great for a fatso like me. I bought mine off the guy blowing a lot off on ebay. I think it was for like 180-200$ Get it... great board, ok construction
  9. Freeloader CArd!!? Thats Great.... If it saves 30 bucks! I just did a quick look up X96? http://www.x96.com/12605TIME/station/freeloaderoffers.asp If thats it Ill just do it online... Im sure they will enjoy sending it to philladalphia. Im not a double black rider :) I can do db's here in PA. But I mostly stick to hard Blues everywhere else. The DB's are much harder out west imho .. but you dont have the ice we have so mabey toss in some boiler plate ice and its all the same. So canyons on fridays, powder mountain on saturday, snowbird Sunday, park City monday? Im assuming they all pretty close in distance. Hows that sound? "Driving can be interesting here. You'd probably be fine if there's light snow with a front wheel drive. But the canyon roads to the resorts can get interesting and they do sometimes limit it to those with 4wd, chains or snowtires. So a suv might be a good idea. " Do they have shuttles or anything like that?
  10. Not that I mind seeing celebs... I probally wont know a single one even if I ran into them. I will probally get PO'd if they get cuts in the lift line mostly Any how Thanks everyone for the ideas!!!!! It looks like we are going to SLC, from 1/18-1/23/07 where do Bill and Phill etc ride... What resorts/areas /trails etc do you reccomend? Is there night riding open anywhere? We are staying in SLC at the hotel for 60$ that someone here recoomended. Driving--- We are just getting a front wheel drive car rental... do we need a SUV? I dont know how well the roads are cleared when it snows. More Places to hang? Thanks Matt

  14. Please help with a suggestion. Im planning a vacation with my cousin who is a 2 year snowboarder and long time skiier. me Im a long time boarder (2.5 years alpine now, many more bored ) We are looking for suggestions for good resorts that will be good for me to carve, and him to screw around with on both skis and his board. We are sorta on a beer budget. We were looking at going to utah and Colorado but anywhere is cool. We are on the east coast now. I went to vail a few years ago that was great (but $$$). This will be his first and probally only trip out .. The altitude in CO did cause me to have sleep problems, Dont know how it is in UT. We are sea level here in PA. Oh and night life... We need a area that has some sorta life. suggestions of great areas that are reasonable and impressive?? (edit--- sorry I messed the message up, I hope its clear now)
  15. From Bruce Matthew: I'm still alive and busy as can be however I'm suffering from ISP mass confusion with location changes and everything that could slow the situation down pretty much has. An email address that will always work is< bmv57@hotmail.com> A secondary address is <coiler@rogers.com> but that one will not work for another day or two as it was shut down when I switched locations and the new account was under my wifes name rather than mine which messed the matters up big time. The coiler.com website and email addresses will be back operating hopefully within a week. Limited choice in service providers at my new location have me trying to sort out a reasonably priced option. Heres another twist! I tried to log onto bomber but forgot my password as I have been logged on automatically for so long. Of course the forgot your password info is sent to a coiler.com email I can't access at this time so I'm shut out of putting in my 2 cents worth. Anyways, all is well and I'm currently assembling tools at my new location gettting ready to start building. If you could, please copy this and post it on Bomber as a few folks may be wondering whats up. Regards, Bruce Varsava
  16. Ive been trying to call for a few days and no one answers... hmmmm..... Guess Ill try again in a few weeks...
  17. Hey everyone, ANyone have a number for bruce up at coiler? Ive been trying to reach him as he requested me to "bother" him during the summer about my board matt
  18. FYI I do strip the wax back on the base nose or tail and write in sharpie marker "Reward if Found call xxxxxx" then wax over it. It comes off with a basegrind or some strong solvent. But no one thinks twice. ALSO CARRY A LOCK and lock your board OR Check it in and give them $1. With so many people NOT locking, a simple lock would deter it much more.. My cousin had a cheap 100$ board stolen sitting right next to my 500$ job... Both unlocked..... Ill never forget it. The whole night was ruined.
  19. are you trying to build a board? If so msg me also.. try http://www.grafsnowboards.com/ and go to the forum and post in the materials section.
  20. honeymoon- Id think vail it has shopping that even my wife enjoyed..that was a hoot in the back bowls on my soft boots. I think I was sick for 3 days from the altitude though..
  21. they actually have that mountain co-op'd.... cost you $7000 to be a part owner... I mean I scream when I have to pay for my ski clubs $12 discount tuesday night special tickets at the local mole hill ... lol you are right all the bankers I deal with on a daily basis all ski... when I ask them if they want to go riding with me they all thumb their noses at me. I was ready to hop on a plane with a bunch of them to aspen but I think they nixed me cause I dont ski. (I never got the invitation... ) I think its funny actually. Next year Im actually going to host a ski party for my clients. I wonder how many show up  Everyone that works at my office rides now, heheh.. I think the boards that I leave in my cubical have something to do with it or they dont want to score brownie points with the boss.
  22. Theres a mountian up here in the east coast same way. http://www.madriverglen.com/ dont get it.
