I have only ever seen the 155 and 165's. It would be sweet to have a bigger one, but I don't know if any other sizes were ever made. Here is the base of my 155. I think this is such a cool base.

In the top photo the board on the far left is an A55 alpine board with all koa wood, and the other two are A55 and A65 Munoz boards with maple and koa wood. I'm pretty sure that the munoz boards are different years because they have different bases. One of then has a cool image of a surfer on a wave. I'll get a picture of it tonight.

Nice pics, I really love wood boards and am a huge fan of Arbor's. I have a 170 A-Frame, 165 and 155 Mickey Munoz. The rest of the boards in these pics belong to friends that also like Arbors.
  4. Do any of you know anything about Head carving boards? I picked up a 155 Head Ax this year just to have for friends, it's too small for me to ride. I did a search looking for info on them and only found one post and it was from someone selling one.
  5. Hey Pow, would that happen to be an Arbor? I'm a huge arbor fan and have 3 of them. As for 'pimping' or promoting hardbooting, a couple weeks ago I got to talking with a guy at my home mountain about carving he has seen all the carvers at Mt. Rose and is impressed and wants to learn. Turns out he is the director of the junior ski program and wants to arrange for some of us to do a demo next year for the kids. The junior ski program is run by the city of Reno and is at a small resort that's owned by the city and is closed to the public. The whole place is dedicated to teaching kids to ski and snowboard.
  6. Yeah i have seen Randy S a few times this yeah, we did some USASA races together and I went to a race clinin that he did and then got to do some free riding with him. He's a cool guy and I would have liked to ride with him more but we have season passes at different resorts. I also missed out on hooking up with him and several others after nationals because I got really sick that week. Sounds like your cousin was one hell of a guy! I've always thought about doing back country riding but would only want to go with someone who was experienced with the area. But now that the Chutes are open at Mt. Rose I can get the same experience without the hike. 55 degree pitch after a big powder dump and it's heaven.
  7. Willywhit, Very sorry to hear about your cousin, my condolences. And that does sound suspicious. Skatha, I was at Kirkwood last Saturday but i'll be nice and refrain from gloating or posting pictures. :D You should not let stories of snow storms and traffic jams keep you from going there to check it out, it's not always that bad. My route there is from Reno and that part of the drive is never that bad. There are so many better places to go than Heavenly, you really should check some out when your here.
  8. Here is a good one from my local hill, Mt. Rose.
  9. Big props to Neil and Jackie for organizing the first SNES, can't wait for next year. I had a great time and it was really good to meet and ride with everyone. Dave, Fri. & Sat. were beautiful blue bird days, so it slushed up in the afternoon and then froze over night which made for the boiler plate in the morning. I have a few pics to post. Nothing too great since we just had a small camera with no zoom. I can send them all to Bryan and he offered to put up a gallery on his site. From top to bottom, left to right: Neil (NEKDUT), Randy T, James Ong, Tom (Miltie), Russell, Gary (garyj), Paul (skisofast), James (my soft boot friend), Gary H and the infamour Donek 203.
  10. Thanks Tex I just saw this. I will call my friend and have him get a hold of mellow yellow. RT
  11. Well i'll be packing the a board for all conditions just in case but I sure hope we can get in some good carving. Last year I went to Mammoth on the 4th of July weekend. We stayed at the camp ground, went mountain biking one day and snowboarding the next!
  12. Neil, Have you received enough confirmations to get the group rate tickets? Thanks, Randy
  13. Sorry forgot that part. Size is large.
  14. These bindings are brand new in the box. $125 + shipping Color is camo as shown. Size is large. Specs can be seen on flow's web site here.
  15. Neil, I have a set of board vices I can bring along. I don't own a t-handle but if I get around to buying one before then I will bring it. Randy
  16. Yes, Jami won a Flow Solitude board and a pair of Flow bindings!! We are both so glad we went, we had such a great time and I will definitely be there next year too. And I'll be shopping for another vintage board to ride next year! She loved riding that Elite 150 so much that she wants to ride it again tomorrow in all the new powder that we're getting. Two feet expected tonight! Randy
  17. Bryan, Great job with all the video and photo galleries. Thanks for taking the time to do that between riding. Next time we meet I hope we can carve some trenches together. You should come to SNES!! Randy
  18. A friend of mine has a 178 Nidecker GS for sale. The board is an 06 model and was only ridden 3 times. He is selling it for $350. Let me know if you are interested and I will send you his #.
  19. A friend broke a buckle and is looking for a replacement. It is the side that would be on the bottom when buckeling. Thanks, Randy
  20. Here are two bamboo boards from Arbor, the Roundhouse ans the Push (womens model).
  21. Thanks Tex, but I can't take credit for all of those Arbors. The only one I own in the photo is the A-Frame on the right. Jami owns the A-Frame next to mine and the A55 on the other end. The other two boards are friends'. I had not really thought about that until now but I do think the bids probably did go up due to the increased visibility from here. RT
  22. Okay I just talked to Noah and he offered to host this at his place, so we are going to do do this on Friday night at 7:00pm. The address is 173 Basque, if you turn off of Hwy. 267 on the road going to Northstar, Basque is the first right. Look for the Miller box on the light post. This is a BYOB event. Hope some of you can make it. Randy
  23. Here is one option you can look into. USASA
  24. I am the one that got the Munoz. Shipping wasn't that bad, total bill came to $313. Sure that might be a lot for a used carving board but for me it's an Arbor thing, I love Arbor snowboards and to have the opportunity to get an Arbor carving board, that is no longer made, that I can try out is worth it to me. My friend Jami has been riding an A55 this year and loves it so worst case is she can step up and ride this one. I also have another A55 Munoz on the way so I'll have to update this photo when they both get here.
