  1. I currently ride a Kessler, but grew up riding Coilers, and agree with BV 100%. His boards are easier to ride, as the Kesslers are VERY race specific. The dampness of the Coilers are very similar to Kesslers... If you are not gate training, I would go with the Coiler and never look back. Kesslers are great at releasing the turns-- a very specific technique that racers focus on, but when freecarving I prefer to hang on the turn at the end creating nice round turns!

Ahh it's good to have a computer and be back on BOL again!

  2. Size 27 mondo.

I've got a half season on these babies...

Liners have been molded two times- BTS system has the red springs. Will post pics tomorrow. Also have the BOOSTER straps on them that have a half-season as well.

Don't know how much they are selling for, but let's talk.

  3. Kessler doesn't really need to return calls to individuals. they seem to be more interetsed in working with groups/teams. I have had my success when approaching it from this angle...

i wouldn't take offense to hans not returning your call. he simply has bigger fish to fry.

any one who hasnt ridden one, should simply beg, borrow or kill to take 20 minutes on one. carving as you know it will never be the same.

  4. WOW Chubz! Don't worry... I don't want Jesse training gates with me more than once a year, because then he would be blowing me away in them!

Sounds like you deserve to havea good time at ECES. I'm sorry to hear about all the injuries. Thank goodness you were wearing our helmet-- and those rocks didnt kill you!

I'll start working on a trophy for the 2009 MAC tracks. We may have to set a dual course and let you guys settle this thing!

  5. That's cool though Scuff-- it just means more runs per training session!

we had 35 gates in, which is a pretty long course. i measured the slalom out at 12.5 meters on average, and it was a long one!

see you in a couple weeks... i'm off to lake placid, then vail next week.

  6. Yeah Buddy! Normally we keep a big fence up around our practice arena for privacy! hahahaha.... are you redy to rock at usasa nationals? if you look closely at our team picture, you'll see i am (KeSsLer!!!)

just getting dialed in on it. i only have the slalom stick, but it's all good...

  7. Yeah Noah, I'm a forerunner for the PGS.

    See you then.

I set that thing. 35 gates. it was a good one. The lift "laps" straight from the top of the course to the end... At practice, we can get 12-15 training runs in a session (or until the kids fall over!) We usually aim for 8 to 10 training runs if the conditions are good..

BVG wants to talk to you, as I want to set courses this year at Nationals.

    Later buddy!

  8. Ski Patrol at our mountain loves the snowboard team. Ski Roundtop has the best Patrollers. We keep them informed of when we are training and racing gates, and they make special "laps" near the course just to check in with us and see if everything is cool...

they also love to watch us carve and shred to mountain. They are totally legit and i'm thankful they are there to pick up the pieces when one of us explodes and needs carried off the mountain.

  9. No worries, and i am about 99% certain the speed is going to collin. i spoke to his mom, and they are letting me know tomorrow before we race... i'd count it as good as sold!

glad to see someone who can shred riding that stick. it's a marvelous thing- and i'm stoked i can watch it being ridden the way it's meant to be!

  10. Spirig-Hangl Plate Binding System for sale.

Used on my GS board, and now that I'm coaching alot, I simply don't ride it that much anymore. It has extra hole drilled in the plate from when I mounted the toe and heel blocks of my bindings directly to the hangl plate. You can use the 4X4 insert pack to mount any standard bindings onto the plate system.

The anti-friction (white slider system) that sticks to the board will be destroyed when I take it off- so you will need to either ride without it, or find an alternative.

I recommend only purchasing this if you have a shop that can help you mount it to your board. I mounted mine with ski hardware, and have had no issues (and I weigh 210 pounds). I will supplu all the hardware that I have used on it.

I'm looking for $300 for this setup- as it has been used, but still functionally perfect.

If you want to ride a 182 Donek GS board as well, I can sell the whole setup for $450. This would prevent having to take it apart and remount it. The board has miles, but I still raced on it- lots of camber, and always waxed for racing.
