  1. what ski boots are you trying to ride in? i personally ride dalbello kyrpton pro's.. they are extremely tough to "dial in."took about 7-9 modifications to get them comfortable and functional. is there a reason you dont go to a snowbaord specific boot? unless you are looking for something in particular, i'm sure there is a deeluxe to fit your needs.

  2. i like to see he's wearing the POC spine protector.. i have been riding with one this year, and love it. extra security and confidence.

anything to keep one's self on the snow!

    (but that's another $140)... hahahahah.

DB- snowboarding is their job- not a hobby. When you try to do your job properly, you will spare no expense at footwear, binding systems, boards, etc.

So go out and get a pair of TD3's and bolt 'em to your ride.... That's the first step!

  3. Having the pleasure of watching them many weekends, Neil and his Kessler race crew get my vote for creating the coolest lift chair carving scene. :biggthump

  5. if you are in pennsylvania, we are only 3 hours away. we have been training every day from 8am until 1:30pm. gates, video review, riding drills, etc.

check me out at neilsunday at aol dot com if you want more info....

  6. I know the patience and waiting game, had 5 coilers and get catek and bomber products when they debut.

use BOLA as a valuable resource, as you have no idea how connected he is.

again, my two cents worth... use BOLA for the kesslers. don't waste your time and try to go direct. i have done it, and it takes me upwards of 14 months to recieve product. use bola my friend- he gets it done.

i think hans should disable his email and his website, as he doesnt need them right now. the people that support his business financially know how to get ahold of him (BOLA)....

  7. I have seen Santa Claus with my own two eyes. He made two kids eyes fill with tears this christmas morning.

His name is BOLA, and he hooked up two kids on my team in a few quick time to get their Kesslers for Christmas!

Bola - I truly appreciate what you've done for us. Your connections with Hans have reduced the time it takes to get the magical K Board under our feet!

    Merry Christmas & Happy Shreddin'!

  8. who needs the site when you can just visit fin and michelle once a month during the season????

just kidding jack. i was looking for another way of showing this guy how to get in contact, but had to rush out the door before i had a chance.

i do prefer the visits to bomber though- always nice to see what happening in fin's magical tech room!

  9. without looking at the riding it is hard to tell... the most common causes of heelside washout are:

    a) boot overhang on the heelside edge

    b) straightening the front leg on heelside turns instead of bending the knee

c)leaning back and riding the tail.

    hope this helps-- good luck!

  10. i've been training on them all week. so far we've ground the plastic "footbeds" under the liner, blown out the toe box, custom footbeds, instep inserts, drilled out the buckles to enlarge them, taken out the shim for forward flex and stiffness, and molded the liners.

they are almost bearable and maybe after another 3 or 4 adjustments i'll like them...

the reason we are riding them is that with the g forces the kesslers pull, we "fold" normal boots.. they are NOT a freecarve boot by any means. it's either 100% or forget about flexing and riding it.

i find mine to be extremely responsive when i am riding 100%-- through a rutted up race course as well.
