  1. Clocked at 61 mph at the Stratton Mountain US open in 1990, that's the only one I'm certain of!
  2. I'm up for either Loveland or the Basin on Saturday, will probably do the Basin on Sunday, let me know which you guys will be hitting on Saturday!
  3. Just want to say thanks to Sean and Fin, you guys were terrific in getting me set up today and helping me get updated as far as the tech goes, thanks for all your time. I still have quite a bit of adapting to do compared to what I'm used to, but had a great time riding what you gave me to try. Art, it was good to see you again, and I hope that I have the opportunity to meet and ride with you and the rest of the local Denver crew soon. Angie, it was great to finally meet you, wish I could have taken a run or two with you, hopefully sometime in the future, and Kevin, good time talking with you, take care of those new knees! Wish I could have stayed through the whole shebang, or least a couple days, it was phenomenal being around so many hardbooters and seeing so many great turns! Next year, I'm staying the week..... Heather Kessler
  4. Terrific! Thanks so much for the reply, be there Sunday!
  5. This will be my first trip to SES, and my first trip to Snowmass. It looks like a pretty big area, where will the demo tent be located on Sunday at Snowmass? Thanks!!
  6. Will be showing up on Sunday, pretty excited!
  7. Change of plans..........rode A Basin today, heard that Loveland was getting a bit shiny, less ice at the Basin I think so will probably hit that again tomorrow.
  8. Will try to head over to Loveland Monday, would like to see some of "my own" for a change....have the Epic pass so have been mostly at the Basin due to the lack of crowds, but there's still a terrible lack of terrain open, and have yet to ever ride Loveland.
  9. Thanks for the help guys. Went straight in and spoke with Bola after the day on the hill, walked out with a pair of UPZ Virus Worldcup Limited, very excited to start riding on them. Fin, dropped you an email, but figured you guys are probably pretty busy, but will definitely be in contact in the future, you have plenty of goodies I'm looking for....New boards and bindings, need to start building my quiver up again, my little F2 is pretty lonely.
  10. Thanks for the welcome! I have the Epic pass, but will definitely endeavor to make it over to Loveland on a Sunday and seek out "my kind". I did wander over to Breck today, what a mistake, the crowds....but anyway, was at All Board Sports in Boulder picking out some new boots, and was told that Loveland was the place.
  11. I'm desperate to get into some new boots, but want a chance to try some on. Are any of the Colorado folks knowledgeable about any shops carrying hardshell in Colorado?
  12. I've been an alpine rider for a long time, and had been to Colorado resorts previously to compete in races, but just recently moved to the Denver area. On my trip up the hill today, I saw nary a hardshell rider (was at A basin), and am just wondering, how many of you typically ride Breck and A basin?
