  1. I'm rubbing my eyes and the original post date still says 2003... Might want to buy a flux capacitor first, Dean.
  2. I was advised to go with a Freecarve by Sean. I think I am going to deal directly with him on this one, so no need for offers.
  3. Hello, No longer looking for a Donek Blade 180 Evan
  4. Man! Should have gotten one a long time ago I guess. I already feel I may neglect my beloved SG after taking this thing out... kind of like a first child feels after its younger (bigger, shinier, more versatile) sibling is born. I promise to spread the shred equality amungst my dear boards (4 and counting with one on the way).
  5. Board is in Rossland, red stripe. Just bought it this morning on eBay. He didnt have it listed correctly so if one was to do a general search for 170cm + boards it wouldn't show up. I typed in Rad Air Tanker last night for the heck of it and there she was. Near new. Heading to pick it up and hit Red Mt. with it. Join me?
  6. Well I did... against my wife's direct orders, I did it. I now own and will finally soon posses a 187 Rad Air Tanker. Without warning I stumbled across it on ebay and the guy lives not 2.5 hrs from me. Made an offer and the deal was sealed. Be ready for a barrage of Tanker posts
  7. Ink great info! Bola and i already have a strong long-distance relationship (friendly and financial) so you are right, I have to stop in and shake the guys hand face-to-face. Really would like to see Bomber too and thank them for facilitating such a great community. I will start saving now as I fear after I ride that Swaord I may ask about a layaway program of sorts. looking into LCI now. This is going to be fun!
  8. Hello Fellow Bombers (CO chapter). I am heading to Monument, north of CO springs, first week in March to visit my sister for the first time since they have moved there. I would love to hear everyones opinion on the best MOST convenient Mountain to hit while I am there. I dont mind driving but would like to keep it under 3 hrs with traffic. Also I will be in need of a set up as I wont be traveling with my gear. Thinking that if i am directed to Breck, Copper etc I would stop in to Bomber and demo the Swoard. <O:pAny and all suggestions will be appreciated. <O:p Ev<O:p
  9. Please send pic and $ with shipping to 99203. Looking for a pair of the larger as they will be going on my all-mt. board that has a 25cm waist. Thanks all! Evan
  10. that is outrageous! Im still working on the forward carve... and didn't know a backwards carve existed...
  11. Found this thread when I was searching for something else... thought it was fun and wanted to bring it back to life since I have a board to share. F2 Flame XL circa 1991-92 Just rode it last month for fun. Heavy but very fun. This thing is like new. You should have seen the look on the guys face at my local board shop when i brought it in to get tuned. This board is clearly older than he is.
  12. much appreciated, Neil! I was hoping to hear that, so i can put this decision to rest. Its settled then and thanks to all for helping put together a great all mountain package.
  13. more worried about stress put on my all-mt. board from the torsional stiffness of the binding... in other words I would rather crack a binding then my board. Tell me I am over thinking this and I will stop with the silly questions and buy the F2s
  14. can’t say im real pleased with what im reading so far but this is what I needed to hear BEFORE I bought them, lesson learned... I was told these would be right up my ally... Bola at all board sports recommended them, and said they would suite me better then the nideckers... any ideas where I should go from here if I send them back? ideas on a better Intec binding (or non-intec) for all-mountain riding? I dont ride my hardboots in pow as I save that for the soft boots but everything else warrants the hardboots.
  15. so thats a no go huh? I would have thought the carbon would have prevented cracking... what where you doing when this hapened?
  16. Just bought a pair of carbon x-bones with intec heals... Anyone have comments on these before I put a day on them? Im a semi-aggressive all mountain rider and these will be mounted to an SG cult. Im 230 lbs if that has any baring. I would love to hear everyone’s candor that has exerience with them. my other choice was the Nidecker free carve... but I passed for the stiffnes of the carbon.
  17. Ill go $190... any takers? great freeride bindings for that pow board in your quiver. Easy in and out. Like new and Very comfy.
  18. I second that! I liked it on everything but ICE... but that goes without saying... snow this week so ill be able to put it through the full gamut.
  19. I knew you would appreciate that! trying to get to Lookout soon. Maybe next weekend!
  20. I have a pair of Blue XL K2 Company Bindings ridden three times (almost brand new). I have the box, extra straps, leash, instructions, two sets of base plates and hardware. I need $200 for them and that includes shipping to the lower 48. save on tax, shipping, and the extra fifty dollars you will pay buying new as these are LIKE NEW. I take care of my gear. Let me know if you want actual pictures. I take PayPal with the buyer paying the fees. I am selling them to buy new Nidecker Freecarve bindings with the FAST system... I hate to let them go but I have no use for them as I am a hardboot convert and I have soft boot bindings for my one pow board already. These will go great on any freeride, powder, long board. These are stiff and sturdy!! Very HIGH QUALITY!<O:p</O:p Evan<O:p</O:p Here is the K2 link to the info<O:p</O:p http://k2snowboarding.com/product/company?category=2011-12<O:p</O:p
