  1. Who's up for Rally Time ?

I know I am!  I'll get things started by proposing dates.  How's the weekend of Feb 23 & 24 sound to you?  That should give everyone plenty of time to make plans.

I can't promise discount tickets or special guests (or even free beer) but I can promise a great time and the opportunity to meet, greet and carve with friends new and old !

Post up if you're in, have any great ideas, or just want to comment.  Input welcome and needed.

    More to follow

  2. I just got a report from my son at MT Washington. All rain at the top on Thursday. No new snow. So I would expect VT and NH to be hard and frozen with some manmade on top.

  3. I was at Catamount a few weeks ago for the first time and I liked it a lot. i think the trails are much better suited to carving than those at Butternut. (I've been there a lot over the years.) Each one has a good beginner area.

Catamount tickets online are $20, $38 at the door. M-Th

    Butternut is $25 Mon-Fri

    I'd go to Catamount.

I'll be in for some mid week. I have a lot of difficulty getting away on weekends but I can go weekdays pretty easily.

Great...Having retired in June,  I'm planning to make it a regular weekday thing.

I'll be there Thursday afternoon for the Grand Opening. (12/13)

  5. Here's one for the collector.  It's a '90s Aggression Aggro 55.  Made in Boulder Colorado. Ever seen one before this?

Camber board with "cool" graphics.  Excellent condition. It looks almost new!  IMO it's best use is decorative/historical. I rode it once, it's pretty ordinary.

Perfect for the board collector.  Asking only $30 + shipping (~$35)  USA only, please.

  6. I've got a set of Catek World Cup Series 1PS bindings for sale.  They are in very good condition. I used them at Mt Snow just a couple of days ago.

There's some dimples in the ring from over tightening the adjuster screws. All of the parts are there. Ready to go!

Asking $150 + shipping.  USPS Flat Rate Box is $14,  USA only, please.

  7. Here's a good used Burton Ultraprime 162.  It's got plenty of cosmetic issues but it's structurally and functionally sound.  I rode it a couple of days ago, it was nice but I've got too many boards to hold onto all of them.

See the full video here: https://youtu.be/vqExmVg1Ftc

Low, low price of only $50 + shipping.  The cost for the last board I shipped was $35. USA only, please.

...and what board is that? I don't get much powder time either (I found a used Fish that's great for the deep stuff), but out of my quiver,  hardboots on a Donek Incline has worked best for tracked out powder, but it's still tiring. I'm wondering if a split tail like a Prior Powstick would be better? What do folks find is best after it's tracked out?

For me after it's tracked out .... softboots!
