No bueno on the snow at gOoN? Talked with some kidz today that were at both Loon & WV ova the weekend. They said the snow quality was much better at WV. Also heard that Loon now has enuf capacity to cover the entire mtn in just 72 hrs! Like that will eva happen! My sources tell me all those new snoguns they keep chirping about haven't even been unwrapped yet. They're waiting til after the holidayzzz!

Took a nice drive today with the top down up through Francs & Nawfords Crotch and then up n ova the Kanc. It was a bright & sunny 66 degrees at the bottom of Loon. I had a good laugh seeing all the snowguns ready to take aim around the base lodge. Who are they fkn kidding? Those were probably the only guns set up on the whole mtn. The trails were so green they could've easily been mistaken for fairways at Owl's Nest. I almost took out a 5 iron and my old shag bag for some practice swings around the West Basin. They'll be lucky if they open by Thanksgiving.

Gleb, I have the Thule 1800 Atlantis on my 08 Subie. I love it!! There's tons of surface area for lots of rad stikkas!! You'll look super gnar cruzin up ski93 to gOoN. Plus, you can pack a ton of skis, boards, and bags in it. Great size for road trips!! Length is an issue on the car. I had to push my oem roof bars all the way forward to fit the box. I still experience some rubbing when i open up the rear hatch. The 1600 is a perfect fit, but it's shorter in length and can't hold boards/skis over 178cm. Go to a store and check out the size on your car before buying! EMS is having their Club Day sale coming up. I bought my Thule box two years ago at EMS @ 20% off. Not sure if they'll accept your NORML card, you might have to join AMC or Sierra Club. As others have said you'll lose some mpg. I'm running Hakkas in the winter as well and drive like a ma$$hole so I'm down ~4-5mpg. Get yourself some Hakkas!! They'll turn your awd Subie into a fkn tank!!

Take my salary off the books. My lower back issues haven't cleared up and I've been on an Advil bender since July.
