  2. I don't know how they're gonna stay open through the weekend. Some trails had pretty good coverage on Sat, but with a couple more 80 degree days and rain this week conditions are gonna look more like the Sherby Trail in May. My mustache is ready for 80's Day in the Bunyan Room. I'll be there at 10am ready to start drinkin snow or no snow.
  3. good luck chappy!! make t32 proud!!! the carving here is great too...think June with a little more mud and no bugs!! :p
  4. Full Story here: http://tuckerman.org/weekend.asp but will probably be moving to the Search & Rescue page soon. This guy is super lucky. Most people either get mangled up pretty bad or die when they fall into this thing!! Here's a little snippet: One man's lucky day April 2 2010, 06:44 pm At about 3pm Friday, a snowboarder was setting up for a run down the Headwall. He and his group had scoped out the line from below. It was over the smaller of the two waterfalls just beside the Lip. They’d done this line at least once before in prior years. He rode down through the bushes that marked the entrance to the line they wanted to drop. His brother was just above him, also going for the line, and another friend was out in the actual Lip. His girlfriend was watching from Lunch Rocks. The turns were all planned out in advance, unfortunately the plan didn’t work out right. He lost his heel edge in the snow and ice just above the rocky waterfall, and slid on his backside right down the waterfall, ending up about 20-25 feet deep inside a crevasse, with icy water cascading over his head. Fortunately he was uninjured, but nevertheless he was stuck inside a narrow crevasse. He climbed up a couple feet to a small rocky edge, put up his hood to fend off the spray of water, and waited. I could have written this paragraph years ago, knowing that the potential for something like this to happen certainly existed, but I don’t write fiction. The incident did actually happen today, and we’re all very happy with the ending to the story. Numerous bystanders witnessed the incident and mobilized to help out in any way they could. About 15 minutes after it happened, word made it down to the Snow Ranger cabin. We were packed up and out the door quickly geared up for a full-on technical rescue. In the time it took us to get word of the incident, pack, and get up to the bowl the bystanders had pulled the snowboarder and his board up out of the hole and had lowered him down the Headwall to Lunch Rocks where I met up with him. He was cold, but otherwise uninjured. We gathered the story while he put on dry clothes, then it was over. I’ve seen a lot of accidents over the years here. I will honestly tell you he’s one of the luckiest people I’ve ever met.

I see a bunch of stikkas on the back window and nearly crash into a telephone pole. They have a T32 v1 stikka on the fhkkin window. I got the wif going a stealth mission tonight to verify, but wtf!!!! did any of you guys give free hand outs??? did they swipe it out of the PBR??? Someone's going to pay!!!

  10. I think stevo just OD'd on blueberries this AM.
  11. We had three deer within range on that stretch as well. Along the Androscoggin, I also had a bald eagle in my cross-hairs. It was just too tuff to steer with the knees and hold steady with all the frost heaves. About HPL...the dates are a little sketchy but we think HPL was built sometime in the 1940's and then the grandparents bought it in the late 1960's. I'm ready to put in some quality time on the deck of the pbr after the T32 Rail Jam. I really want to see Gleb chatta across the slush pool again.
  12. One pair of lightly used underoos. Minor cosmetic damage as a result of a pbr bender. No reasonable offer refused.
  13. Fixed!! just wanted to be explicit for the Sugarloaf weekend warriors. btw the goon squad is showing up. the wif just outfitted me in a full pbr uni. I look like a friggin pbr distributor. don't get us started!! you'll regret it saturday night. trust me!!
  14. Tough call. They ar reporting 6" of wet pow from yesterday bt things should be groomed out for the weekend. Sat. Is supposed to be bluebird and a cold start with temps probably in the upper 20s near 30 up on the hill. Looks like it might be a good chub/stub/SL day. Sundays forecast is changing...cloudy and warmer with temps in the upper 30s/40 and a slight chance of precip. I bet conditions on Sun. will be similar to the soft conditions we saw up there a couple weeks ago. We are planning on meeting up with stevo n wif at the Bag around 8PM on fri. For dinner. Call us when your up in CV....we might be out boozin.
  15. fk the bunyan room. how much fun can you have in a 90degree sweat lodge that pumps out agent orange through their popcorn popper. I feel like I need a lung transplant everytime they make popcorn. Polaris and I found a new baaaaar!!!!! No more barges.....no more plastic cups.....no more stacks!! It's all metal these days. We had a tall PBR Poundah Pyramid going yesterday afternoon at Camp3. The T2B run down Flume & Brookway was a gongshow. Polaris had to stop 3 times to pee.
  16. Polaris wants to know how's the snow on Long Duck Dongland? You and your diesel powered vaj can GFY3x!
  17. you're questioning our team loyalty and dedication? Polaris and I are in the pbr right now pounding pbr's...you should see the stack! We just had Charlie page you.....FKNA where's the framed penthouse centerfold hanging up? We need some eye candy! GFY2x
  18. Dirty Sanchez, It was 60 degrees, bumps, & slushy. We saw a hippopotamus on skis who Stevo heckled from the lift. We met a guy who thought Priors/Doneks were betta than Coilers. And, there were lots of nasty mustaches up there..... http://www.youtube.com/user/FunnyorDie?blend=2&ob=1#p/search/0/-ql4OABgQLY ATM!!!

  20. stevo- polaris and I may be roadtripping to SR to meet up with you on Saturday in the ChiliCheeze Cart. you just need to find us ice cold pbr tall boyz in Bethel. It's that time of year.....T32 needs to be SWAT ready....Tux/GOS are starting to ripen up. At any given moment we might be pulling the trigger!! Also, we're all penciled in for HPL on March 27-28. Time for the real ECES @ Sugarloaf. Get your eye black ready!!
  21. Current report from the gOoN website: "Keep doing doing your snow dance, please. Some predictions are that we could see 4-7 inches of snow in the base areas and 20-30 inches above 2000 feet! Add those accumulations to our current base depths and the post-storm skiing and riding will be epic!" They really know how to push our buttons and piss us off!! I just drove past Linkin' on my way back from Sugarloaf. It was 42F and pouring rain. Not a flake of snow anywhere near Exit 32 or the Notch for that matter. The front four trails at Cannon are already showing patches of grass and mud. Rain all the way from just south of Rangely to Gorham, NH. The only snow we hit was along RT2 near Mt Madison/Adams. The forecast this week is perfect for snowmaking...sunny and 50's with highs near 60 by the end of the week. I'm seriously thinking about road tripping to Sugarloaf for the rest of the season. Let me know if you guys are interested in joining me. Hey gOoN GFYTT!!!
  22. Their daily report says they might get 20 inches of snow when all weather reports show a couple inches of slush and rain. Another classic report right up there with their comment from a month ago about their "world class grooming". What a FRIGGIN joke! Glad I'm at the Loaf - real snow and perfect grooming!!
  23. Throw a dart.... 745 pbr 745 tbars 745 peabody 745 barker 745 widowmaker your drive up to the mtns this weekend's gonna be like our drive home from the eces banquet. Go left...right...you passed it....no go further....no turnaround.....stop...go...stop....go....wtf! I still can't believe u were sober. You were driving like a 74 year old 5 time repeat offender.
  24. stevo- what's the snow report from Sumday Biggah?? Looks like a slim chance of rain for Linkin but a blizzard for Cannon. There's less of a chance for rain the further north we go. Still undecided on our weekend plans...gOoN, 8piles of dog poop, or even da'Loaf'n'Ladle are all in the mix.... At the moment, HPL has No Vacancy, but the flatlanders might cancel their reservation due to weather concerns. We should know know by Thurs what the heck we're doin.
  25. option 4: Catered pizza party by Elvios & drunken billiards at the Bitta End?? Forecast is pretty much the same for Linkin, Bethel, & even da Loaf....Temps around 40 and a chance of rain. I'm up for anything. If it gets sloppy, I'll defn run the softserve setup. The LMP halfpipe was looking pretty ripe for the pickin' the other day. The Govna's Gauntlet is on!!
