  1. Was a BX designed board. I used it for racing GS and slalom until switching to hardboots. Its super stiff both laterally and torsionally, and is a 162.

Edges are ready to go, looking to get $150, let me know if that might work.

Edit: Also have two pairs of bindings that could work aswell,

  2. Looking around for this seasons BX bindings, they will be used on a Kessler type metal board and used specifically used for races. No park or any of that stuff. They're replacing Burton CO2s.

Just throwing this out there to see if anyone has and experience on these bindings in particular.

    Thanks in advance.

  3. Seb, thanks for the video, its been a great help and Ive only managed to download 3 so far.

The 30 second videos are taking me about 30 mins to download. :(

Vimeo Plus offers unlimited HD uploading with no maximum file size. Downfall is its $60 a year.

Even 4 Youtbe videos would work, but I'm not you.

    Thanks again!

  4. ¶Chinese cars get 40 percent better gas mileage on average than American cars because they tend to be much smaller and have weaker engines.

No duh, most Chinese are half the size of normal people here and dont have any reason to own a large vehicle. I'd like to see a little toyota pull a trailer loaded with #5000 of brush or dirt. Not going to happen.

  5. Size large Canadian national team World Champ speed suit.. Only used a few times... Like new condition....

    Asking $80.00 plus shipping...

Any questions please post them... i will get back to it as soon as i can..

Would you happen to have a few pictures? Searched google but found nothing.

  6. Used for two seasons, raced to many USASA medals and National top 10s, great board for someone looking to get into racing and just want to carve and pin it.

$150, shoot me an offer and I'll definetely consider it.

Waist is 25.6 from what I can remember, I will look when I get home tonight. Length is 162.

Base has a few minimal nicks, and one larger (4") dent that would go away with a base grind. Topsheet has marks from Palmer plates and the other marks (duct tape residue) just got the Goof Off treatment so they arent there any more. Topsheet also has some nicks/ small gouges along the edges (PURELY cosmetic, does not hinder performance at all) Board has plenty of life left, and is currently running 1* base and 2* edge bevels.

  7. Used about 15-20 days, will wash it before I send it out. Size large, decided I liked the black better.

Retails for around $370, $175 shipped anywhere in the world. In person take off $15. (paypal+shipping)

    Thanks, Mike

Quick screenshot for color reference, its brighter in person. (Orange)

  8. I haven't been following all the technical talk and mechanics of the plate system. For us non-engineering minded folk, how will the average consumer who doesn't understand the science behind it order their boards going forward with this type of system?

I see this as a board (plate) mounted on top of your board. So traditionally, without the plate, your weight is directly flexing the board. With the plate, you are flexing the plate to a certain degree and then the board. Does this mean, you'll have to order a board with a soft flex since you'll be bending two things instead of one? So if I'm a 150lb person that orders a board with a given flex, now I need to order a board with a flex meant for a 130lb person since I'm mounting something on top to bend as well?

If the advantages as Sean states that noticable, I'd be willing to explore the plate system idea assuming costs and benefits are significant enough.

    Please clarify.

The plate itself has very little flex. The reason you see Sean's plate flexing is because his elbow is pressing directly down on the middle of the plate. Your feet will be pretty much centred over the pivots, therefore reducing most flex. Any aditional flex would be cause any "Special K "movement in the legs. If people still use that move.

  9. TRy reading the post. Its not about banning it from nationals, were do you get that from. Im an alpine rider and coach since 84. I suggested we have a seperate division for alpine boards. The main reason for this suggestion was to help softies that race at the age group levels have a little more fun and success at what there doin. and i still havnt heard a thing from a soft boot rider. Its crazy how some of the alpine guys are freakin out. it was just a suggestion. ive earned that right in this sport that i help bring to where it is today, dont even come on BO and start a flame throwing match with a lie that im banning alpine boards. dont just jump on the band wagan. think before you speak . thank you nick colavito

I could quote you but apperently you rewrote your ideas in a much more.."calm" attitude.

I still dont understand. Alpine coach since 84? And you want softboot riders to not have to compete against them? How many softboot riders compete in FIS sanctioned races on softboots.
