@Tddragon how was your first day out?

On the first ride couldn't even buckle in the rear foot LOL! Glad I brought my screw driver just in case. After making angles less steep/forward - I was able to finally buckle in and stand up. The first 2 rides were pretty humbling - couldnt turn the 170 coiler ex at all lol (my virus package didn't arrive yet lol) - lots of falling and feeling like a total beginner again 😂🙈 on 3rd ride it kind of all clicked and I finally stayed on my feet. But was way sketchy on more narrow parts (really wide turns and accelerating to fast for my current experience level lol). All in all pretty happy for my first hardbooting experience. Can't wait for my virus goodies to arrive this week and going again next weekend 🙂

As Jack said... "There can be only one"!  I guess we will see.

A special thanks to IVAN at i-carve.com, he is top notch and very easy communication.  Purchasing is simple!!  Do not hesitate to reach out, purchasing globally these days is easy and fun..  my board was at my door in 3 days! better than 90% of buying in USA...  amazing..  typical custom fees are around the 40 to 50 dollar mark for a high end purchase.

    Thanks again Ivan!

Anyone try this? They are marketing it as a 365 day esnowboard that you can carve.

I had the sbx summerboard (their new board). And ultimately sold it. Felt more like just a fun toy to play around with sometimes. To slow, short range, not much power especially uphill, not as stable and easy to control as some other eskates (settled on the lacroix lonestar)

  6. Excited about BEAST opening! Called them about covid they said aside from obvious mask requirements - folks will need to change in their cars. And lodge access will require reservations most likely to limit amount of folks in lodge.

Looking forward to meeting hardbooters on beast this season! Just starting out on hardboots 🙂
