  2. Am building my dream board, come on guys help me out? I'm so close. The set of TD3 s I just purchased came with 0 & 6. So I have a zero cant disc that I can offer in trade with cash? Please help a fellow Carver get back into the sport!

  4. Need ever so badly: Bomber TD 3 Sidewinders Intec heels step-ins. Yeah, they are rare. So who can get me back on a board in style. I have a pair of Standard sidewinders I would like to combine for two sets of stepins. Somebody help please! They will be very much appreciated! 970. 319. 6363 Todd
  5. Removed all stickers and storage waxed.Sent from my E6782 using Tapatalk
  6. While the 188 is not in perfect condition the first photo shows its camber and the core shows that it has a lot of life left in it. I'm going to rate it in good/very good condition. I removed all Sent from my E6782 using Tapatalk
  7. Only rode the little one once this year... Maybe I don't care about this anymore? I know these Sims are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Make me a reasonable offer. Sales preference goes to anyone I can meet in person in CO or whomever buys it all. Sent from my E6782 using Tapatalk

    gotta go

I would love to get a price for the renn tiger. maybe an approximate of how many days it has been ridden?
  9. someone please buy this so i dont give in to my sinful nature
  10. The tags we use are $170 a piece... but $30 or $40 a piece should be sufficient for your limited use. ours get used almost every weekend. but the old ones we got are still working and were maybe even less than $30. the human error is normally a bigger factor than the inaccuracy of the watches.
  11. Lodging is cheaper than summit county for sure... only small town night life. great steakhouse... 25 minutes from copper mountain 10 minutes from ski cooper where i work 45 minutes to vail or breck less than an hour to loveland, keystone or a-basin hour and a half to monarch which is well worth it if you like deep powder and trees might be able to hook up a free ticket to ski cooper if you gave me a little notice as an added bonus! we are a little of the grid but almost dead center in the middle of the state. and the locals are friendly...
  12. Jumped off my tierney ride (t-board, 2 wheeled longboard) about 4 summers ago. Was going about 35 mph down the road off of Mt. Sherman, should have inspected the run. The rain had washed sand across the road. I should have gone to my pads but tried to run it out. As I stepped off my board and planted my left foot I felt a brief sharp pain and heard a sound like a gun shot. My acl was gone. This effected my decision to accept that I was never gonna make it pro and so retired from sbx to coach. I have not felt like i could huck the 80 footers since that injury. But 4 winters later I am feeling almost 100% again. Pretty much trust my knee again fully. So my take is that yes you can carve without an acl, without both maybe not. Was on a downhill course yesterday on my Sims 197 Burner, the fastest skiier got speed gunned at 59 mph, me 52 mph. Not missing my acl much at all, but got to take your recovery and rebuilding of mucles easy.
  13. GRaham showed up hoping to pick up the X Games invite for SBX which he ended up just missing out on as Ross Trulove passed him in the finals. But what i want to recall is his GS run to start it off. FIrst of all he showed up in a totally awful onepiece from the earlt 90s. Then he proceded to run the course doing twohanded eurotrash carves all the way down the course. It was a thing of beauty. Then he saw he was totally in it and smoked the second run. He qualified 2nd or 3rd for the parellel finals. I believe he went on to beat Anton Pogue to win it. Cant remember if he won the slalom the next day or not. Seems like he may have, what i recall was Pogue real irritated not to have won the events. Some of his Sbx runs were pretty amazing too. But seeing him drop his hip to the snow and put both palms on the snow all the way down that GS course was what I have never forgotten... he is a bad ass
  14. You dont want to use them as a normal stopwatch at all... they are both running clocks that you zero out and then use as you spoke of. As you hit the split timer and record, then when you hit the button again it skips to that new time. No reset between racers necessary. make sense?
  15. So at the finish the person with a radio has recorded the racers bib number. When the racer approaches the person recording and the person with the stopwatch both try to see the bib and confirm the expected number. If it isnt possible it is necessary to confirm bib after finish is crossed. So racer crosses finish line and the stopwatch is stopped. That person then reads the 6 digit time to be recorded to the other on the clipboard. Dyeing the finish will help visually, liquid blueing works well. At the end of the run the timing sheets are compared and simple subtraction yeilds the times. We are usually accurate within 2 tenths of a second to our wand and beam timing. So dont dispair if you have to run it old school. Probably easiest to run it so you only have one racer on the course at at time. If you have any questions or need clarity dont hesitate...
  16. We run hand times along with the taghuer timer with beams for all our sanctioned races. So the first thing is to synchronize the watches. At the start I recommend using a start wand the same as if you had the wireless system if possible. I would say it best if you have two volunteers at both the start and finish. At the start have your Starter with communication (a radio) that puts the racer in the gate and sounds the cadence. The timer then has the stopwatch and a clip board. He records a bib number when the racer enters the gate. Then he watches closely for the racer to leave the gate, easiest if you can watch for the wand to open, but if you stay consistent the wand is not necessary. So as the racer leaves the stopwatch is stopped and the 6 digit time is recorded ( hour, minutes, seconds) Then at the finish line one person has the stopwatch and the other has a pencil and clipboard. The one recording should have a radio and so has written down the bib number when the starter anounced the bib.
  17. As far as I know it has found a happy home... should have stated it was sold. sorry
  18. probably wont make it to the SES but may... am definitely going to get in touch with both Bomber and Donek and try to arrange for demo rides asap. have got to ride both before making the investment i expect... 8 oz. seems significant but have saved that much with light boots... anyone know how much my sidewinders weigh? thanks
  19. I am agonizing over making the decision over whether I want Fin's boiler plate ( which I am aware I probably cant get this season) or Sean at Donek's plate. I think that the carbonfiber boilerplate looks sexier and is probably lighter but the Donek price point is tempting... Am wondering if anyone out there has rode possibly owned both and could offer an educated opinion. I am wanting a plate badly but need to get some more info... thanks todd
  20. Good thing he's a doctor... If I pulled some sh*t like that they'd send me to the state pen. HE'll get some $20,000 lawyer or whatever and the DA in Eagle County will cut a deal for probation... like the guy that ran over a biker and didn't stop except to figure out how to find the mercedes dealership to fix the dents. If I'm not wrong he was a doctor from out of state too. I guess its just another example of someone who lives by the wrong Golden rule, "He who has the Gold rules..." but I bet you are right he should get all tore up in civil court.... Whatever happens I hope he gets medication and psychiatric enema cause his head is obviously inside his colon...
  21. Got on Scarpas last year and they didnt work with my td2s but when i got my sidewinders it was beautiful. The Skookums were last years top end lightest AT boot and they definitely are much lighter than my old deeluxes and look far more tough. They came with a stiff and soft tounge, i use the stiff with my 197 but thats too much for riding powder. But I love hiking in them when I have the soft tounge in. Mostly I love wearing sh*t kickers rather than ballet slippers :)
  22. Any interest in a trade for a purple 188 sims burner? I am 2nd owner. no damage. will post photos if you are interested. will do my best to find cash in my budget if not...
  23. if your post is true this is an awesome deal... wish things were different cause i would put way more than 4 runs on it!?!
