  1. Dave - my buddy and I took some runs with you at Steamboat a few years ago. You kicked our butts! If we can make it to Copper, I will let you know. But the multi-pass we're getting does not include Copper. Are there any ticket deals going on?
  2. Thanks Michelle. I will post here as the day get closer and we know for sure where we'll be.
  3. Donek Axis SOLD, TD1s still available. I've got a Donek Axis 172 if that's not too big, 21.5cm waist. See Donek website for specs. Also have TD1 step-ins.
  4. Fin may be the best one to answer, but I'm pretty sure you'll be OK as long as the internals are sufficiently lubed and the cables are not frayed. I recently had two heels apart and they were fine. Nothing gets inside.l
  5. I could also ship if you are interested. If so, please email me through the site. I can get you pics and work out the details.
  6. Donek Axis and Raichle boots SOLD TD1s still available I've got a Donek Axis 172, TD1 step-ins, and size 28 Raichles. Please email me through the site and I can get you pics and details.
  7. Donek Axis SOLD I've got a Donek Axis 172 (see Donek website for specs). Looking for $150. I am flying into Denver in about three weeks. Could probably meet.
  8. I'm headed to CO w/ a friend; boarding March 19-22. We're staying in Avon, but could drive to any of the resorts. Are there any regular meetups? Or do you just play it by ear? We would love to take some runs with the locals.
  9. I don't mean to hijack Sharkey's thread, but I'd like to post an update on my situation. My original boots are Raichle/Deeluxe SB 423 size 28. I just replaced them with UPZ RSV (predecessor to RC10?) size 27. I am using the black thermo liner size 28 from my old boots and they seem to fit well. The size, shape, and stiffness of the UPZ works much better for me. They're smaller overall, since they're a smaller size, but still have plenty of width in the forefoot, and a much narrower heel. I'm getting very little heel lift now. I've only had them on snow for a couple of hours, but I'm sold. I can't wait to try them again.
  10. Last night I had just gotten off the lift and a small child (5-6) is passing by with his father. child: (pointing at my board) Dad, did you see it? father: Yes, I saw it. child: It's a snowboard ski!
  11. That is my exact situation; went red to black. I didn't know until I bought the new liners. Still looking at going down a size.
  12. I am experiencing the exact same thing. It's confusing b/c I know my feet haven't changed. I replaced the liners last season and the new ones seem to be even lower volume than the old ones. I tried using a 1/4" foam shim at the rear of the cuff, and some under the tongue. But they are still too big. I am looking at going down a size and getting new boots. I am wondering if the fit hasn't changed as much as I think it has. As I've gotten better, I think I prefer a tighter fit. So the boots only seem looser.
  13. Hey Guys It is true that I cannot make it to MAC Tracks this year. A friend of mine was going to bring the plate(s) to MAC Tracks in my place. But I have not heard anything back from Sean in a couple of weeks and I don't expect there is time to ship the plate(s) at this point. Sorry about that. I am still expecting to get a demo plate eventually and will try to make it available to as many people as possible while I have it. John
  14. Thanks for the offer, but I'd like to get my original asking price.
  15. Payment received for mine also. Maybe he can stack them and get like a 30deg cant angle. :D
  16. I don't want to hijack this thread, but since hero already has a buyer, I'll add that I have the same cant and would be willing to sell for similar price.
  17. I just emailed my paypal info to you via the forum link.
  18. Dan - Thanks for the tip. I just took the board over to the USPS. They told me there is a surcharge for the length of the board, but $30 will cover it. So let's say $30 for one board, $50 for both. Are you still interested?
  19. Most of my clothes dry easily in the dry climate of ski towns. The only thing I make sure of is to place my gloves near the heater/blower. Air flow makes more of a difference than heat. You know those little spring loaded plastic things that you can use to hold a drawstring tight on most jackets and gloves? Whatever they're called, on my last trip I wedged those things into the blower grate to hold my gloves in the airflow over night. They were always dry in the morning.

    Wow, quote of the year.
  21. I hope to have a number for you Thursday. I need to take the boards to the local FedEx and get a price.
  22. Hey KneeDeep Yes, the Burton uses 3-hole bindings. They are standard Burton plates, not rattraps (step-in). The Dynastar has a Lofo binding on it. It is not 3-hole or 4x4. The bindings screw directly into the board like a ski binding. This board was made before binding inserts were standardized. I have attached another picture showing the bindings in more detail. I will find out how much it will be to ship these boards to you as soon as I can. I doubt I could have them to you in a few days though. I will get back to you ASAP. John
  23. I'm watching American Chopper (Orange County Choppers) and they're building a bike for Mountain Creek. They're trying to figure out how to mount a snowboard on the back. I don't think I'd want to ride it in the snow, but it looks cool. Have any of the MC locals seen it?
