  1. Sorry for not putting a price up earlier.

    $225 + ship

Again, they have history but they work for both Goofy and for Regular. The Goofy must use longer screws (supplied) or rotate the platse 180. Regular can blissfully pretend that they are new and use as such.

I hope this clears things up.

  2. Steve,

you will not notices a thing. the base is flat and the edges are sharp. the brown spots dont "take" wax anymore so yes thoes spots will not glide as well as the rest of the base.

I am over 200 (ok 210) and I consider this a soft 185 think of it as a narrow freecarve more then a stiff GS board.

    It has a 14 SCR

If someone just put you on this board with no prior knowledge of its base issues could you really tell the difference in handling ? no not unless there was a clock or PGS going on. no you should not race for money on this board but it would be fine to practice on (save your nice race board when you get it). Since it is not a rock hard board it will take less effort to bend it into a turn but it will also not feel as solid at speed as older stiffer or new metial boards.

Starting out on the cheep, I am looking to eliminate any equipment factors in my learning curve and put the lack of good carving on my poor technique alone with no excuse for my old equipment ( does that make sense ) Well it depends what you old equipment is like, but it is 185 with a 14 scr so this is not your little bros park/jib 157 soft boot board.

    Thanks again.

  3. SOLD

I had some bad luck with these UPZ's but I also know that others like to have an inventory of parts because they seem to break parts.

Shell heels have horizontal cracks I can not advocate using them as boots any longer.

    wysiwyg:

    Shells (and hardware)

    Stock liners

    thin foot plates noted below

I believe these boots do have the t nuts in the heels it that helps. (I used standard bindings so I did not take them off but I could see the screws from the inside)

    So

    $65 shipped to US destinations

I also made a thin foot plate so that when I cooked liners for these boots the liners would not ooze into the slots in the bottom of the boot. these come with as I will not need them now.

  4. SOLD

I have a pair that I wanted to offer the community.

    complete set, ready to use.

Full disclosure: I am regular and I bought then from a Goofy foot who said he had stripped the Goofy position adjustment threads. Upon close inspection some of the threads were missing or cross threaded. I ran new screws through backwards and cleaned up the damaged threads that (about half in one hole and 1/4 in the other). Then I found just barely longer screws that reach the just through the plate and grab the all the threads including thoes that were never touched (untouched threads from factory but below where the stock screws can get to).

Now It locks up just fine for Goofies.

The new screws sit flush with the bottom of the D3 (upgrade kit) (below the alum plate) so If the new owner is goofy they can just open up a hole in the silicone D3 under the goofy position screws (2) per plate and no issues or they can rotate the plate 180 and use the regular holes that were also never used with the short standard screws.

    Any takers, and intrest?

The short version is Regular riders have no issue whatsoever, Goofy riders will need to make room for the longer screws in the silicone or rotate the plates 180 and use stock screws but they work Goofy now also.

  5. This is my 185 rock board that I could part with.

I have strctured the base and tuned the edges and waxed it since these photos were taken.

the brown patches looks like fiberglass, the edges are in good shape but I think somone ground the base too much. It works for a rock board but it will not be as fast as ptex in these spots because it does not absorb the wax.

  6. Bump new single purchase Buy it now each size.

It seemed that folks did not get that the way to game the buy it now was to by multipuls and save on the shipping. So I posted single buy it nows with a lower shipping cost.

250 gr one left, plenty of the others so you can still get as much as you want.
