Cant dispute that

Im only asking this because in my limited days riding last year my Am board which is at a slightly lower rear angle felt like the stance was a bit too wide, it was not comfortable like I remembered. I dont use any cant angles and have not for 10 years
-
Using that it would be logical to believe lower angled back foot might be more comfortable at a slightly smaller stance width?
-
so consequently it will feel wider at lower angles?
-
I used to know this, If I lower or increase my rear foot angle how does that affect my stance width, or does it.
-
1/2 size too small for me too
-
They look pretty minty
-
Glad I dont have to ride with my feet that close

Well these are pretty new so I will see how a few days on the hill affects the bolt. Also the torque of moving the tongue with only that attachment point might loosen it up
-
What as the trick to getting the bolts loose to remove the tongues?? I had to cut mine on the boots cause it was not possible to get the front bolt loose.

Wow I missed all this butt hurt about opinions of bindings. I can be very literal so Im going to be sure not to leak any pee on other brands. I have been on F2 for 10 years and find the simplicity of the design to MY liking. I run the large heel lift on the back foot and two opposed shims to make a small flat toe lift on the front. Adding a cant is not hard just instal a shim in the direction you desire but it does require adding it to both the toe and heel blocks.

I added the strap and cut the tongues on mine, they will be much easier to get in and out of. Got the parts from Yoja

Lace up, leather outer, thin neoprene all around, Cambrelle lined, with flow cork around the ankles.
Sounds like the ZipFit I just got

Hard part is going to be finding gear to use. Im at Berkshire east on the reg if you want to try and hook up there. We have helped many people make advancements in carving there. Im confident if we get a chance to spend a couple hours on the hill you will have an Ah ha moment in your carving development

This board Pretty much can carve on anything but if its pure groom, this is my weapon of choice.

Got the Zipfits yesterday. It seems as if they are going to work for me but only time on the hill will tell the true story. I am very optimistic based on yesterdays fitting.

Its the allowance for twist that is the factor here

Watch used Coiler boards go up in value if there is no more 0.3 to be had. Im not so sure Bruce is willing to go through all the redesign necessary to make it work with 0.4. Now this could end up being a new generation of metals that have different feel than what we have now and perhaps "better" in the long run. Problem is waiting or knowing when they actually have the process feel and durability dialed in. I can see a couple years of boards that dont meet our current expectations and people paying for boards that just dont work for them. Since 2009 There has not been a Coiler metal I have tried that I couldn't get dialed into within a few hours, Even that Og Plankinschtein that was built for riders 50lb heavier than me I was able to master after a couple runs.
So the real question is how quickly can manufacturers adapt the 0.4 design to get the current ridability and durability we enjoy with todays designs

Thought I saw some lifters under one of the bindings
Zip fit anyone???

First day yesterday on the zip fits went well. The heel hold is ridiculous and they seem like they are going to work out well for me. Im expecting they will get even better fit wise since I didnt follow the standard heat the shell procedure and just rode um. It was not a long day but I didnt have to change the buckle settings once or unbuckle due to pain. A couple hot spots on the front/medial side of both ankles, will have to see what thats all about. Guess I just happy for get that first day under my belt and feel good the next day.
Special surprise, bumped into Ace the Squal king for a couple turns. He kills it on that pencil !!
