Nice Vids RC, thanks

Love my 177 VSR 20 waist but it does lack some tail pop, with that the sweetspot on it is huge, its my magic carpet

Wont Torsion + be a Poppy board

Why the Ptex top sheet

If my back/leg-foot was not on fire I would have a new home for that board. I rode the OG Plankenshtein under weight for its spec and it was a blast once it got up to speed. Im sure the ones built for lighter weights would be great and a total blast in the upcoming spring conditions

Bump, I thought Monsters were metal/VSR and were able to deal with all snow conditions.

Cool vid, one thing I noticed was on heel side your hips are still pointing in the same direction.

Blew a disc in 06 and took 2 shots to continue to ride. Caused nerve damage and foot drop that never came back. My leg has lost about 20% of the muscle in my shin. This year I didnt stick to my training regiment and my leg and back have been burning since early Feb. 1 disc looks like its almost gone. Hope getting back to the gym will help.

It is with great pleasure to hear your feedback on the proto Shaggy. Your feedback will certainly help in directing the board to where it is going. For those that do not know Shag, this is a friend whom I have logged many days on snow with over the years. He has owned and ridden many original Madds of various lengths(and the non originals), Oxess and plenty of others. Most importantly, Shaggy has the riding skills that remain consistent on every turn. That being said, he knows what this quest is about and Im glad that he has dedicated his time, knowledge and skills to help bring the board to its next level.
Shaggy, I luv you too

You mean after Saturday?? I was not all spazed out and had a good day. Not outta the woods yet, tonight I was pretty useless rebounding for my son so I still have some issues to tend to. Funny thing is when Im angulated and carving it does not hurt

Very Funny Hanns

Fit size 9-10. Great price, I would be buying them if I didnt have the same exact pair
-
Dont need a video to ask who rides 17 on a carving board? Go 19 and start adjusting from there. Im 5-10 and ride 19.25. Wait till you see how much more stable it is, confidence will come out of that. +1 on the center of both insert packs. Its where I start dialing in my coliers when I get a new one

Saw some socks that are heated and can be controlled by your phone but they were Expensive

I never used the stock liners, went with Intuition Power wraps. When its in the low 20s or teens I notice the cold but I dont think thats any different from previous boots. Besides the fit and performance trumps and cold issues for me

The mask comes off when I need it to. Chicks dig the mask...
Thats a huge +1

I put these in my UPZs and they have been the best combo I have had http://intuitionliners.com/thestore/powerwrap-plus/

That thing has a massive scr. When you are doing 20 mph, add 5 mph then tip it and hang on!!
Cant remember who it was but the quote went something like "Boards with big SCR can smell the fear" Definitely need big boy pants on riding it.

Wondering why you would even want that board Based on the boards you usually ride

1 other thing I got while Pureboarding with Mark a few weeks ago was in a toe side turn yer weight distro needs to be a bit more on that back foot/toe. Im not saying get in the back seat but a bit more weight on that back foot makes a difference. My mistake for years was keeping my weight somewhat even on both feet or not really paying attention to where the bulk of the pressure was being placed . The pureboarding day got me to heavily weight my front foot heel in heelsides and shift weight to the back toe on toe sides.
Did I make ANY sense

Look at Jims knee above, I was having a similar issue on steeps losing my grip on toe side turns. Last year at ECES I was riding with Dan from Pure Boarding and he said point your knee out on Toe sides. Once I tried it I realized for many years I was not doing it right. It sticks like glue when you do it.
