  9. Madd is still fine, just quiet for a bit. As you all know the production is in Italy, combine global economics, euro vs. USD and all of its trickle down effects over the last 6 mos. both the US side and the Italy side of the operation decided to weather the storm and focus on development for next season. The metal boards are excellent and there are new ideas on the table too. It will be worth waiting for.

  15. The Roe Mermais LDP is a great carver as well as pumper. Don't be sucked in by old rumors about production time, tunaround is rather quick. I just recieved my new LDP in under 4wks. Art on wheels as usual. -Mark
  16. Tested the next generation Madds with Titanal this weekend and came away very impressed. I must admit to being a bit apprehensive about going metal, particularly with the 158. Not that I don't like the characteristics that metal brings to many boards, I am definitely a fan. But, I am also a huge fan of the traditional Madds and was leery about losing some of the magic. I ran everything hard under varied snow conditions from rock hard man-made to inconsistent natural snow to see what the new construction brought to the table. They nailed it! The tenacious edge hold that made them famous actually got better. Most noticeably under steeper, chatter conditions, both the 158 and the 170 are more damp and want to stay in contact, even with mid-turn adjustments they kept tracking confidently. I took it as a challenge and did all the wrong things over the skiied-off sections, diving abrupt engagements, drastic mid-turn changes, no problem. Better than the traditional construction? Maybe, maybe not, totally depends on what you want from it. If you wanted more help on icy or race course conditions the titanal is a great way to go while not sacrificing much of the playful nature. The trad with the carbon butterfly is still amazing edge hold and is a bit more lively. I am choosing to have both and add the metal boards to my quiver as well. What can I say -Mark Harris
  17. Tested all the new Titanal models sat/sun. at Mt Bachelor on varied terrain and both man-made hardpack and natural snow. Madd nailed it. I will provide more details tomorrow, a lot of hard riding this weekend and 8 hours on the road tonight = I need to sleep. But for now, the new boards are very, very good! -Mark H.
  18. Hey Steve, good to hear from you! Be very tempted, this one is always a season highlight. We always have a great crew and the terrain is more fun than I can put into words. As far as I know we still have some spots left -Mark
  19. Conditions look great for the Sun Peaks Camp dec. 14-17, 46cm currently at the base area! For those who have never attended a SnowPerformance Camp at Sun Peaks, I can't think of a better way to start the season off. The terrain is absolutley amazing for carving with everything from the mellow warm-ups to the wide, rolling intermediate, to steeps that test your committment. I'm stoked to be coming back, this is my favorite camp all year! -Coach Harris
  20. Don't be fooled by the living-room flex test, it may feel softish but there is a lot of board there. That 159 will amaze you with its ability on ice/hardpack and all-mountain versatility, you won't be dissappointed.
  21. I am not set up as a stationary demo tent, I am working with athletes. I have an assortment of demo boards with me. If anyone wants to test or just hook up for some runs, use the cel number posted in the original post -Mark
  22. Cody, you still riding? You sort of disappeared -snowcoach
