    Bromont vient d'annoncer la fermeture définitive de la station pour la saison.  C'est fini.  Trop de pluie à venir.

    Je suis chanceux, j'ai pu me taper qqe descentes hier matin.

    Well, I had tried with iMovie but an old version, so I guess it wasn't very good.  I downloaded a newer version (as you can see, I don't use it often...) but the stabilization was horrendous. Your links are appreciated but Windows only...  So I set out to find some free tool.  Found a few free trials.  Tried them but had issues loading the software or videos had watermarks and more.  Then I remembered that Google Photos has a video stabilizer (but only on phone it seems).  Tried that.  Uploaded but video was only only 360p.  Tried a different upload option and this time allows for HD.

    So, should be better now.  tx

    Early Friday morning.    From 8h40 to about 10h45.  It was starting to get crowded when I left at that time.  We did have to wait once in a while to let the skiers thru to have a clean run.  But I think that at one point, we were scaring them and that kept them away 😀.

    Yeah, nice conditions.  Icy but very grabby, just let the board do the magic.

    Not sure when Bromont closes, I haven't seen any dates set yet.  Unfortunately, the forecast does not bode well starting Sunday til Tuesday.  Lots of rain will make the conditions much worse. We'll see!

    How many centimeters (center to center) between the left and right holes for the brackets. 

    JPM inserts are 15cm apart.  I believe UPM is 13cm (but could be wrong)

    What length are you looking for?  For SL or GS?

    Have you contacted JJA directly? he may have some lying around 🙂

    Pas pire conditions même si il y a eu une petite pluie et redoux hier.  Mais il y avait du monde partout parce qu'il y a la compétition SuperSeries et la Coupe de Monde, Waterloo et St-Paul sont fermées.  Encore plus de monde en après-midi. Du bon carving avec la ClearZ155.   Pris un bonne débarque quand mon edge heelside a accroché en transition.  Tête et épaule ont absorbé le choc. Mais j'ai plutôt mal à l'aine et au bassin.

    Spotted #1: Carver avec un Burton (modèle?).  Je le vois de temps en temps mais j'ai jamais réussi à l"accrocher.

    Spotted #2: Carver avec EOS  @Québec man  Je crois que je l'ai déjà vu à Bromont.  Un de tes clients?

    Spotted #3: Carver avec une Donek

    Pis le gars en monoski!

    Demain je sors la ClearZ163.

    Je commence à avoir hâte pour Stoneham...

    Nothing spectacular for "Tracks" but I have to give context.  This is on a saturday AM.  The prior wednesday, it rained all day then thursday temps stayed way over freezing (about 5-6C) into friday PM where I'd guess by then we'd lost a foot of snow on the ground (judging from the cover loss).  On Friday PM, temperatures dropped to about -15C with 60-90km/hr winds.  From wet snow to a frozen layer, not good.

    The local hill crew was able to recover the damage by providing awesome carving conditions so I could lay lines like this all morning.  What was amusing is that most skiers hated the conditions except those who really knew how to carve.

    Ouf, toute une journée ce samedi à Bromont...  Avec la M&*de qu'on a eu cette semaine, je m'y suis pointé de reculons.  Pas extra pour la descente de réchauffement (Brome) mais vers le milieu c'était pas si pire.  Mais en remontant, j'ai remarqué que les BRs arrivaient de la Brome et que je me suis dis qu'ils venaient du côté des Cantons...  Je m'y dirige et la Edmonton était en très bon état.  Les deux bons pitchs qui habituellement sont plutôt glacés étaient carvables pis pas à peu près.  Toeside/heelside, ça accrochait très bien.  Faut dire que la JJSB ClearZ 155 a fait la job admirablement bien.

    Spotted:  J'ai discuté brièvement avec un gars qui avait une Burton chaussé de UPZ.

    Belles conditions en fin de semaine.  ClearZ155 samedi.  Rien à redire.  Ça tourne et donne le tournis.  Dimanche, ClearZ163. Bien mieux que samedi dernier mais je crois que c'est une combinaison de rider, conditions et avancer les fixations de 2cm.  La Coupe du monde était parfaite jusqu'à je sois pris dans le #3 (le lent côté village) pendant 30mins...   Combo Saskatoon/Kamloops (Cantons) était tout aussi parfait.

    Spotted samedi: @Corran avec une Soul mais un topsheet différent.  Puis il portait un onesie (one piece) assez hallucinant.  On pouvais pas le manquer.  Pis vu un autre avec une JJSB.

    Spotted dimanche: Qq'un avec un Pureboarding je crois.  Du moins en haut des chaises, ça ressemblait à ça.  Et un autre avec une Volkl (???), mais il est là de temps en temps mais j'ai pas réussi à connecter avec.  Ça sera peut-être la prochaine fois.
