A few years ago, I bought 2 Burner 197s (new) extremely cheap at a local Denver shop that was getting out of the alpine market. I kept one and sold the 2nd one for only $75.00. I eventually let the other one go to DD in Tahoe if I remember correctly. It was a FUN RIDE, but way too demanding for a 5' 3" circus midget like myself. I wasn't interested in making any real $$ on them and just wanted them to go to a deserving home. Hope that didn't ruin anyone's day. :o -Charles

Man.. I had forgotten about his famous quote...."You carve..you carve...you carve" The first time I saw that video of one of them carving a complete 360 degree turn across, up, around and back into the fall line, I was hooked.. I HAD to learn how to do that! The very first "Euro Carve" I ever pulled off was better than sex....without the $4.95 a minute charge! -snowspeedster

I have a pair of these and have been riding them for the past 3 years. I love mine! The built in lifts and cants are awesome. Good luck selling them.

I had one of these for sale and there are 2 versions of the Speed. One of which being the wide version. The only spec that I remember is the waist. The wide has a 22cm waist and the regular had the 20cm waist. Hope that helps at least a smidgen. :D For $125, jump on it! It's a fun ride at higher speeds.

Dan, <P> You have <I>NO IDEA</I> what you're missing out on. <BR> I've found some just plain obscene deals at yard sales, garage sales, thrift stores and pawn shops....Especially pawn shops!<P> I used to have an all used snowboard shop here in Denver, and when I started out, most of my product was found through these methods. It's time consuming, but you aren't gonna believe what's out there.
