    Video link - 98 games

I saw someone post the olympic video few week ago. May be you can find Fawcetts in there! http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?37461-Olympic-Alpine-Snowboarding What you are up to recently?
  2. Update on 19 & 20th: Sunny and warm on Sat., unlimited visibility. Lots of people. All chair were opened, except Crystal, Magic and Showcase T. Raining at the bottom on Sun., but wet snow at the top. Very limited visibility. Condition was holding up until noon, soft and slushy in the afternoon. Mostly ungroomed runs were very rough with big and hugh moguls. Recommend park at Base 2 and upload/download using Gondola. So how many people will come out on 27th? I will try if I can drive up to wrap up the season.
  3. So the official gathering on 27th? Yesterday, morning was cloudy, then sun came out around 2ish. Tried the mogul field at the top of Spring Board. Slushy and fun! My recommendation, if you don't want to scratch your base/wax, park at Whistler base and upload/download on Wizard chair (5 min walk from parking). Lots of dirty and hidden rocks, condition is bumpy at lower section at the end of the day. Currently, from Blackcomb base 2 to base lodge, only 3 boards wide groomed runs is accessible.
  4. Another sunny blue sky day! Still very warm. Condition was slushy in the afternoon. Recommend to upload off-board on first chair. Barely any snow left at the bottom. Still ridable to base 2. I think I saw one guy on race board and another guy on skwal? with poles.
  5. Went to Blackcomb yesterday. Condition were hard and frozen before 11ish. All ungroomed runs were rough, even on softboot. After 1ish, everything become soft and slushy! Sunny day, blue sky! Very warm in the afternoon.
  6. Currently, you can only upload at 9:45am. Gondola only open during weekends. The rest of time, you have to upload from Wizard chair. For snow condition, it will depend on freezing level. From my experience, start riding from top of Jersey chair around 10:30. Condition is ridable for hard boot before noon. Afternoon, it will turn into slushy bumps.
  7. Definitely, we need to go out another time! I will call my friends in Whistler and come out ride with us!!! It will be fun!
  8. Well, the candidates were shocked when they saw me doing the Toe-to-Toe exercise with my race board. The bumps below the solar was too crazy. I can only ride the side of the run.
  9. Went up to Grouse yesterday! Arrived around 1pm. Condition were slushy and most rider up there were jibber. Only the Cut is opened and no line-up!
  10. Gave a CASI 2 at Whistler this week. Spring condition. Got some snow on Tuesday and Wednesday which made easier to ride the bumps in the morning. In the afternoon, soft and slushy condition everywhere. Broke my freeride board on the last run on Wednesday. Had to show up on my race board on day 3 and 4. It was icy yesterday morning and the bump was quite hard to ride. Barely made it down on the bump below the solar chair. This morning, we got 15 cm fresh powder snow! Amazing! First track! But it only last for an hour. After it became choppy everywhere by skiers and later the sun made the snow very pack and bumpy. Great weather this afternoon!!! Sunny
  11. Video on ski course through: http://www.globaltoronto.com/pages/media.aspx?id=6442628323&mediaID=16
  12. It's closed already! I though it will open few more weekends next month. Miss the gathering on Sat.
  13. I wonder anyone know the snow condition at Grouse currently? As Cypress opens only on weekends, I may go up to Grouse during weekend days.
  14. Came back from Whistler yesterday. Did a plate session with the snow school in the morning. Uploaded 7:45am. Condition was bulletproof. One of the instructor practiced to give a CASI 4 pedagogy session. Working on lateral pressure and the theme was gradual transition. Terrain and snow condition were perfect for this session. A good standard pedagogy. Be ready to ride hard stuff in the morning this weekend May come up later during the day
  15. If I show up on hard boots, I have to be on race board. My freeride binding screws are rusted, can't get them out..... Condition was great this morning, then became wet snow in the afternoon. Hopefully, it will snow next few days!!!
  16. Went up yesterday to pick up my pass. It was snowing in the afternoon. Condition was wet and small bumps everywhere. Will go up today for CASI 2 course.
  17. Update on March 28: Foggy most of the time, wet and sticky snow everywhere. Good thing is no many people on Expo. May go up to Cypress after lunch tomorrow to pick up my season pass! Oh YEAH!
  18. Hope you recover well Boris. Does anyone know if they will put up another one tomorrow night again?
  19. Update on March 13: Soft pack snow everywhere. small bumps on certain section and bigger bumps on Peak. Foggy on upper mountain and better visibility on lower expo. Did some filming with the team. Will do more tomorrow.
  20. Update on March 12: Everything were standby due the high wind. Until 2pm, blue tram started running. Then, red tram started running around 3pm. Visibility was very limited. Very foggy, snow was very soft packed. Went down the bumps on Peak... mostly sideslipping. Not much traffic! Hopefully, will be very nice tomorrow!!!
  21. At Grouse training with my athlete today, my athlete got into the line-up first. One of the kids on snowboard pointed to my athlete's pointy nose F2 race board and said "I like your board!". Then, I came into the line-up and the kid looked at my stubby nose F2 race board. The same kid said "I like your board too!". I smile to them and said "Thank you".
  22. Update March 8: Did several runs on Expo last night. Nice soft condition. Great for carving. Then, gave a freestyle session for snow school on my plate. Did lots of switch and fs/bs 180. Need to practice my switch fs/bs180 more. At the end, it was a fun session. Came back from a session at Whistler. Too tired, will take a break tonight. Will go up tomorrow around lunch for training.
  23. Hi Geo, can you tell me how many gate they have setup? My athletes went there last month, they told me there were only dozen of gates.
  24. Update on March 01: Visibility was limited. Snowing in the evening. Snow was nicely soft and packed. Not many people on the Cut. Update on March 02: Great powder run below Olympic chair and soft pack snow on the peak. Update on March 03: Sticky powder below Olympic chair. Visibility was variable. Update on March 04: Visibility was limited and mostly wet snow everywhere. Started raining in the afternoon. Surprisingly less skiers/snowboarders on the hill. Haven't seen any hardbooter this week. Probably, will see more kids this week during the strike.
