dam Rob thats killer!! I wanted one of those too... but i do not have the funds for that... and i want to use mine for transportation... so the bike conversion looks to be my best bet..

these guys are in Melbourn Au they look fun but i think hardware could be attached better. i have a shop in north van that said they can lace up a 1900watt motor for like 1500 (with battery and controller). the cool thing is it is not permanent. the bummer is all that un sprung weight.
I have a 02orange Patriot. might work out well. more to come later

I would love to see this season's world cup races. with all the You tube and cable tv out there there has got to be some footage...? Geting footage out would definitely help the sport of alpine. dam i would settle for amature footage to. i did find this when i searched google for "world cup video 08"

i like to ride my flow's on the looser side. that way i can tweek my boot around in them a bit. also this bit of extra room is good when snow gets packed in under the boot. I find that a lower volume boot works best with the flow system. I tried my Salomom Synapse boots in my flow FR's and did not like how they worked.. but my burton driver boots work great !!!
I have Flow bindings. love them . they make my ankles feel very secure. they are not the most jib orented set up, but they ride powder great, and carve great to. definitly way nicer to my feet than my old Nidecker Carbons
ah sweet sweet cypress. got up there last night and to my suprize Sky chair(my favorite lift on the mtn) hadn't opened yet. mm it was so nice when they opened it... best day of my season. the snow was great and i dident notice that anything was slide prone... but they have an extreem avalanche warning on for the north shore. stay safe brothers and sisters.
enjoy every turn
thanks for the update Dave!! we had 15 cm fresh in the park. i was ripin it up on my bike :)
I'll be up there on my usual thursday night....ridin the trees in the dark lol
Yes!! i like them. the use of stainless steel sounds good (i like it for stregnth and flex)
good job, I hope someone comes out with a hybrid like this. I would like to se it a bit lighter, and mabey on a riser with a larger, more flexy base(for less kinks in the flex of the board)
it would be fun to try a Cateck like riser with a freride flow binding. i like my freride flow binders because they have lots of lateral support. it has deffinitly saved my front ankle a few times.:)
awsome dave!!!
glad someone got to ride all that fresh. I riped up the mtn last thursday night, the snow was great and i"m glad we have all that base covering up the holes and stumps. moons and slash were great by moon light. I wonder if the raven ridge chair is going to run at night?
enjoy cypress fellow carvers and pow pow hunters.. I will be in Colorado untill the new year.
Cheers,
Bryan
