starcarver,,, were you at the summit last saturday with 3 other carvers? I saw 4 guys with alpine boards,,,and one of them had volant GS.

If you go to catek web page http://www.catek.com/tiltcalculator.htm ,,,you will be able to find how many turns of screws are required to get how many degrees of lift/cant you want. Just FYI,,,because I had trouble to find out the degree with catek,,,and the main reason to switch to TD.

Good to hear that. I was at summit last saturday,,,and it was raining hard. Had to give up after an hour of trying,,,,,snow was too heavy. I go to Mammoth from 25th to 29th,,,a familty thing. I'll try to email you around 10th of Jan. if I like Mammoth enough,,,this is my first time there.

Alan,,, That's right. It's Goldsmith I talked to too. At the time I wrote the post initially,,the name was at the tip of my tongue and couldn't get it right. Let's gather around with enough carvers and ask Goldsmith. Goldsmith said it's supposed to be a free clinic,,,,but I think chipping in a bit is not a bad idea for such a scarce opportunity/information around here. Then,,,maybe,,,we can ask them to hold it earlier than Feburary. The sooner the clinic the less pain and aggrevation :-) What you guys think?

I met a guy named Robert (he's maybe around here too) who said a shop in Big Bear is planning alpine board clinic. I called the shop and they say it would be in Feburary on one codintion that there should be enough interests. I wonder how many here on BOL are from Souther California and interested in such clinic.

I see you are from LA, CA. Are you near Los Angeles? If so, where do you for carvin??? I'm just trying to find a few buddies around here in So. Cal.

TD2s are hot in Korea too. They even wonder if TD2's really made/designed by American since TD2 adapted beautiful round shape alot. (They still think US made cars are motor in a box)
