We "tow in" all summer long wakesurfing behind our boat. I've always wondered how much harder (if at all) it'd be to tow in in the ocean. I don't need 20' barrels like this.... 4-6' would be awesome. Are there any fat guy tow in trips out there?
I just don't get the wedge and that vid shows perfectly why I don't. It's a huge face that closes out right onto the sand. Sure, you can get barrelled, but none of those clips showed anyone riding away.
They sure look like they would be, but I've never handled the F2 binders so I don't know for sure. It's pretty easy to make some with cutting board pieces and a little macguyverism.
Still available. Looks like this is probably going to go back on the rack for next season, as the north american season that never really was seems to be winding down fast.
Dan I'm pretty sure this *is* a variable sidecut board. Bruce built the board for me after we had a chairlift conversation at OES in spring 2009. I'm pretty sure variable radius was the hot ticket at the time, but to be honest I'm not 100% positive. I'm sure bruce could tell from the sidewall inscription. This thread looks like a good indication of the genre of the board:http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/showthread.php?28004-Coiler-Monster-182
I'm not really interested in trades right now and was hoping to free some $$$ up for a different hobby that's been demanding my attention.
wow are those old concave burton decks really worth that much? Holy cow, I think I sold my 86 performer elite 150 for $50. It had been t-nutted tho. My little brother had the 140 version of your year (blue fade instead of red and orange).
