    Steph,

    We have a possible spot available at $50.00 a night, however we're going to be in Basalt but there are plenty of vehicles for transportation purposes. So you can totally swing it.

    Do it!!!! I want to ride with you this year :)

    just found a flight from Albany to Aspen for $439...now I just need to sneak it by Alex and get a cheap place to stay...hmmmmmmmmm....anyone have any ideas??????? DAMMIT I know I'm just torturing myself cause I'm going nowhere fast.

    Ride hard & drink heavily...Party on Felicia and party on Allee!!

    I'm bummed you guys won't be there, but you'll be there in spirit!

Bruce, I am hoping that Leslie and I get to try the Schtubette before you go, since it was our idea!!!!!!! Have a blast ladies and make a few turns and drink a few drink for Steph and I who will be wallowing in self pity that we aren't there! ehhehheheheee

    Thor (Stan) told me he's already picked out the wig he's going to wear for the event. For your sake, you better hope he doesn't go with the mini-skirt he was talking about.

    I'll save a carve just for you girly :-)

    I would just love to be able to attend SES this year. The "Shred Betty Clinic" sounds like good fun. All the ladies in the house at SES need to go rip it up and show there stuff...I can't wait for the picture:biggthump. I'll miss riding w/all the chicks (and everyone else) this year. Maybe next year (although I said that last year).

    I'm am positive that the ladies will hold there own and have fun doing so. Stay healthy Felicia!!

    We have cookies and lattes here on the dark side and if she'd like a couple of margaritas those are there too:eplus2: Can't wait to meet Mrs. Riceball! It should be a blast!! Wonzer and Darcy are still coming too right?

    Okay, my wife's new hard boots are coming in this week from Andrea at yyzcanuck and we are currently teaching her "The Norm" on her freeride board. At the moment, she still really hasn't felt a true carve. So, when she does come down and meets all of you, I'm counting on you to turn her over to the dark side. :eplus2: Felicia and Allison, I know you and the babes can do it!

    I don't know about you guys, but I'm super stoked that SES is 3 weeks away.

    OMG I can't wait!!! I'm going to rip it up and I've been laying low just to prevent any injuries :)

    P.S. For the ladies, what is are plans this time around? I still think that if we don't have a ladies clinic, we should totally do a Shred Betty Session but then allow the boys to come play with us.

    Hi Dan,

    I'll be there and of course carving hard! I'm not the greatest carver but if Vanessa wants to play in the snow with me, that would be great! I have a huge laundry list of people to play in the snow with this year, so I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again....I promise I won't cry unless the conditions are too stellar for words...LMAO :1luvu:

    Michelle...Do you know if there will be a ladies clinic this year? If not, I think we should rally the girls together for a shred betty session within the session :-) Maybe we all could wear pink shirts and black snowboard pants.....:)

    Ken's experience is exactly like mine. I learned tons, and I still learn tons each year I go back.

    BUt the best thing about SES is that there are always awesome carvers who are prepared to take a few runs with the newbies and offer advice.

    As for fellow beginners, my wife Vanessa will be there. She did a couple of days at last year's session and enjoyed herself. This year she will be up for riding with any fellow beginners, so you will have at least one playmate.

    I just wanted to wish each and every BOL member and their loved ones a Very Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Kwanzaa and any other holiday I missed oh and a Happy Root Beer to you!

    I look forward to riding with those of you who will be at SES 2009!

    Pray for me that I don't break any bones this Christmas as last year was bad enough!

    Ok I'm not really sure how this all transpired, but there's snow outside. Well in most areas (we've been getting hammered here in Wisconsin) so let's all go out there and make some turns

  20. 1st Days back on plates

    Well after an interesting last season (twice broken leg included) I had my first days this past weekend back in the saddle again. At first I was a little hesistant....Given my situation last winter, but once I shook off the cobwebs, it was back to my usual grind again.

    By day 2, I had regained my rockstar status and was carving harder and lower than ever. I'm still a work in progress, but let's just say I so can't wait for SES and all the riding I finally get to experience.

    P.S. We had awesome some here in the midwest which included a powder day! *Swoons*

    You must teach us that dance from last year's party at the Bomber house, this time I will be able to do it....without having a broken leg :)

    @Carvedog: Yep, we got our Vid to be the "Semi-offical SES-Vid" :)

    @Thor: Well, you seemed to have a lot of time looking for us in the bars :eplus2: I hope we can do some runs there too. Coming to Aspen just fpr a tour through the bars is a bit of a "overstatment" :p Yes we'll ride, in the mornig Ajax, afternoons at the Bomber-tent-place! And in the evenings there will be time for some ... :D
