Al and I was discussing this last night, I was thinking about getting the name on a sticker. He was thinking, I should get a sticker of a huge one and put it on the nose of the board. I was thinking about trying to find something with a girl riding a rocket or something and put his name underneath it. Any views?

OMFG look what I started. Al said the same thing Thor about it being a phallic symbol, so Richard would be appropriate. I also liked Booty Call. I'm torn between the two names, I was also thinking of calling it Beasty (From Pirates of the Caribbean)

I see. Well my boyfriend purchased a Pow Stick last year, and absolutely enjoyed it on hardboots. The first Pow Stick made was a bit noodlely (sp) but this years Pow Stick is a bit more stiff. I was so envious of my boyfriend last year and all the fun he was having on the Pow Stick that i purchased the 2008 version. So I'm pretty confident that this board will take me everywhere. The Pow Stick is primarily for deep powder, but can be ridden on crud, groomed trails and all else in between. Dang it! I wish it would snow already.

Hardboot setup. My siggy (significant other) currently owns a 2007 Pow Stick and rides a hardboot setup and likes it a lot.

Oh ok. I happen to like the way the Coil responds off-piste, but I think I will really be able to enjoy it more with the Pow Stick.

Nope. It's a swallowtail. This is the board I have http://www.priorsnowboards.com/boards_powstick.php# It has the Pillow Line graphics on the topsheet and the lion/camo print on the bottom.

I'm not sure what it's like to ride an axis in hardboots, but I have a Burton Coil which is an All Mountain Board and I have ridden off piste often and loved it. I did initially feel like it was difficult ride off-piste and didn't like it. You definitely need off-piste to be steep in order to enjoy the conditions. I do however much prefer riding on piste, but I still drool over off-piste condition, so I've bought a Prior Pow Stick so that I can enjoy both on any given day.

HAHAH Mt. Olympia is not good enough for my guy. I usually ride often up in the UP at Indianhead. I go to Cascade Mountain when the snow is plentiful. Hopefully Mt. Bohemia will be a trip this year. I also get out west a few times every year and I will be at SES next year for the second yr in a row.

ROFL I was thinking about that one initially, but I don't know any plumbers that I could name his after. I also want a name that when you see this board, you'll go yeah...I see why you named it ________

but I'm somewhere in my 30's. When I think of Powder Puff, I think of the big wheel I had when I was very young. It was pink, it had pom poms on the handlebars and sparkles on the seat. Somehow I don't think Powder Puff would be a good name for my Pow Stick. Unless he's a bit fruity.

Hi Gang, I just received my new baby yesterday. A 2008 Prior Pow Stick. I was wondering does anyone else give their boards names? I typically give my board male names and I'm looking for ideas on what to name my Pow Stick. My Burton Coil's name is Lance - Lance is charming, slightly arrogant, a ladies man and ALWAYS fun to ride :)
