Well I am water-skiing & golfing but I would rather be riding. With riding you don't need a boat or chase a golf ball, just balls out riding & liking it. *Sigh*

Going through snowboarding withdrawl? I wish I was somewhere with lots of pow or even just some corduroy that I could spend the day carving up. *Sigh* Sorry I'm venting

Can I say both? My boyfriend introduced me to carving and so now we carve together and of course I love riding.

I would rather see a guy or girl laying down some huge trenches than someone catching air in the halfpipe personally. It's cool but after while it gets boring to me. I can't understand why there is such a love/hate relationship between regular snowboarders and alpiners. We have something in common ya know. SNOW! I've got a lot of flack from some of my friends because I didn't want to play in the terrain park. I wanted to go fast and carve huge ruts that skiers and regular boarders could fall in....LMAO Of course when they see what I've learned they're like that is so cool, I want to learn how to do that someday. Then I usually tell them that this sport isn't for the faint hearted. It takes a lot of work, patience and dedication. You have to have develop a love for carving, because otherwise you'll spend a lot of time hurting...

Well now I am kind of torn. Ride the Edge gets my vote but I also liked Sun a pee, especially the end where all of the alpiners are riding together. That was sweet! I hope to get to that point someday. Although I learned how to ride and carve on an alpine board in two months and I'm already keeping up with my boyfriend. I graduated from a freeride 147cm to a Burton Coil at 166cm. So I can't complain :D
