  2. I'll try to get ahold of Todd Brown since he doesn't seem to frequent Bomber lately. With the upcoming dump tomorrow Wachusett should be in full swing soon. Can't wait to rip down Challenger under the lights!

  7. JG- Good to hear you're back within the 128 technology belt again. shoot me an email if you want to head up to sugarbush with us next wednesday night. I've got some extra vouchers. I'm going to be working down on Newbury St next month, what are you up to? You can borrow the 197 Burner if you want.
  8. I'm looking to replace my Nordica SBH's. If anyone has some 28.5 SBH's I'd be interested. I really only need the shells. AF 600's are really what I'm looking for tho.
  9. Todd seemed to know the people to talk to about doing a wednesday night thing. I've got interest from some guys here in Boston to rally up every wednesday night to run gates. Set a course and they will come.http://www.rsn.com/cams/wach/cam_welcome.html anybuddy got a jeep? 12/20 Jeep Owner's Appreciation Day Jeep Owners receive 2 FREE lift tickets (two per Jeep) and "prime parking" on this day! Jeep owners will participate in a free race on Challenger!
  10. Looks like great snowmaking weather through next week. Killington looks sweet today !http://www.rsn.com/cams/killton/cam_welcome.html Boston Area Roadtrip (BAR) should be a blast. Bring your radios and we can rally together a carving posse. I've been wanting to ride again with the crew from ECES last year.
  11. Bob, That sounds like a plan. Do you still have your voucher from the movie? I've got extras. Heading up the night before would be key.Mad Mt Saloon rivals Redbone's for Beer. It looks like they've only got 4 trails so far and it's uploading at Mt Ellen right now. By next week it should be top2bottom. http://www.sugarbush.com/winter/onmountain/snowreport.htm With white dust outside my door today, I'm getting stoked. Hitting the stairmaster everyday is getting old. http://www.newenglandski.com/vt/sbush/map_north.jpg I'll be in touch~~~
  12. I've got a handful of Sugarbush vouchers from the Warren Miller movie. If any of the local Boston crew is up for a midweek session, let me know. They're good Mon- Fri until 1.31.04(not 12.25-1.04 and 1.17-1.19). Bob Jenney, I believe I owe you for dinner and a movie. Weasel, still "under"employed? ;) ;) My wife's away to Brasil for the next few weeks and my mice need to play in the snow.
  13. Anyone have more than one of the same model? I've got 2 Burner 197's , one pink & one blue. If I'm wearing my neon pink/green powdersuit, I'll ride the pink one. Kinda like Liberace meets Elton John laying down carves. Is there a support group for fashion faux paus?My wife thinks I'm just insecure and need to be noticed.Maybe I'll go back to blue jeans and a filthy SKI Doo jacket.
  14. Romeo's only looking for 20 bucks and those nitro binders look pretty sweet. Back in the day we used to tow each other around on beater boards behind the 4X4 in the city streets with a waterski rope after a good dump. Same thing with old rock skiis, just beat the crap out of them before setting them on fire and chuckin' 'em in the dumpstah! I wish we had a videocamera back then. A quik hack t nut job and that old K2 would be ready for some urban powder runs. and a sacrifice to the snowgods:p
  15. anyone going to the TGR movie/show thursday night? BTW, try a shifter kart and the F1Boston puttputts seem like sears gokarts.
  16. Rusty-that avatar rocks.I wish I didn't have to work sunday.
  17. 4 to 1 not in favor of tunes? C'mon. If you ride on the weekends then of course tunes are a bad idea, but so is carving at high speed. On weekdays, when there's much less danger of collision, look up the hill for ANY potential overtakers and proceed to BOMB the hill with the Hendrix cranking.Tunes are great for those annoying buzz kill conversations in the gondola too.
  18. Jim-http://www.cheapsnowboards.com/csstore.html I saw a Burton skycap for $35 and the MT-1 BX /Moto style full face for $50.I'm not a big Burton fan but they're good helmets for cheap. The MT-1 was $200 bucks full pop. I've run a Leedom for years but plan to get a full face.Everyone should wear a helmet....and an MP3 player.
  19. Teton Gravity Research is screening "Highlife" at Avalon 11/20 and musical guests are DJ Qbert, X-ecutioners and DJ somebodyelse?check out http://www.tetongravity.com/cotw/cotw98slow.htm for a sample of TGR's work.Disciples of Warren Miller are taking it to a new level.
  20. CArvemaster-Where are you in HI? Have you looked into kitesurfing? I heard that Robby Naish's dad is into carving. If you're in Oahu, I know some guys to take kite lessons from.Prob give ya the military AND locals discount too. :D aloha ~~Willy
