  1. was thinking of going to tomorrow, i have off, but is it really worth it? do they groom sunday night?
  2. I'll be up that weekend. I usually ride skiers left side of the mountain. Would enjoy doing a few runs if we catch each other.
  3. I am unable to make the trip all the way to Stratton though I wish I could. But for those who are thia might help, Stratton gives away 10,000 free lift tickets each year. If you have a cell phone that sends text messages all you have to do is send the word "SMILE" to the number 22122. You can look on strattons website to verify this isn't a scam ( I know I don't post much). Plus I have two friends who have already won a free lift pass this season. Good luck getting a free ticket, and have fun up north.
  4. Will be riding again this coming wednesday (19th) at ELK. Usually get there around 8:30 and ride to about 1.
  5. Looking to buy a suspension kit and a can't disk for my td2s. I was never very picky about my setup, but after a serious knee injury I can't seem to get back into the "swing of things" with my riding. I think a suspension kit could really help out in taking some stress off by knee. I would also like to get some angled cants, 3 or 6, because my one 0 degree seems to be giving me some trouble. Plus any advice or guidence on setups that have helped you are welcome and greatly appreciated. able to pay thru paypal ( seems to be the easiest) -Brett
  6. For all the young guys out there who have a college ID. Wednesday is college day at Elk Mountain. Its only $15 for a lift ticket. I'll be going tomorrow if anyone is interested. This isn't really on the website, but i sent Elk an email and they responded saying that the deal is available every Wednesday for the rest of the season.
  7. I'm in for blue mountain, sorry I didn't see you at creek Sunday, granite was so icy so I ended up skiing south most of the day. going to be at elk tomorrow ( wed)
  8. sounds like fun, Blue is very do able for me.
  9. website says opens at 9, i don't hold a season pass. can i work around that? if not i'll be looking for you on north and granite (I'm on a prior metal)
  10. Going to be going to mountain creek sunday morning with the new metal board for a first trial. Haven't been to creek in about two years, Any suggestions on what run or mountain to go to. When i used to go i liked south, but i heard its all a terrain park now. anyone going to be around?

  13. Erik J, doubt you would remember but i met you a few years ago at Mountain creek, i was just starting out riding and was on an old burton amp. I wasn't much of a carver. since i have upgraded to an f2 and have been teaching myself how to carve. i was getting pretty good until an automobile accident last year took away my snowboard season and left me with a pretty messed up knee. Now a year later, and in much better shape i'm looking to hit the slopes again. went to blue mountain last weekend ( proving to myself i can still ride ) I'm looking to ride with some guys to get some REAL technique and tips, or to just watch someone better than myself and pick up what i can. i have never ridden with any other carvers and would be interested to meet up with you and the other jersey,NY, and PA guys. Not sure what all your riding styles are ( fast, slow, big carves, euro carves ) but i'm down for anything. im usually around camel and blue.
  14. i was very pleased to meat Eric at the mountain last week. He got me reading up here and its amazing how much you learn with a little help from others. A few of us will be at the mountain tonight south peak. Hopefully we will see some of you, because watching seems to be the best way to learn. I Really picked up a lot just watching eric go a few runs. you had it right Eric , its Brett and Alanna. Hope to see you on the mountain.
