I know a lot of MD's that don't vaccinate their own kids. ITs the numbers and when they look worse taking the shot than not taking it , Its hard to make the choice to give it to your kid. especially when the other side is spouting propaganda. My personal favourite public service announcement is four babies playing on a black backround. four different races all in diapers. a very serious deep voiced announcer says "one in four children in the US is not vaccinated. Your child could get a deadly disease" What Rot if the darn things work than the unvaccinated child is the one at risk not the vaccinated ones. I know they'll defend it saying it was intended to scare me into vaccinating my children but it views clearly as intending to get vaccinated children's parents to freak out and cause trouble for unvaccinated families. way low blow in my book. If the facts where there why use scare tactics in the first place? Another one was a three year old on a tricycle riding down the yellow line on a highway with trucks whizzing past on both sides. I don't remember the dialogue but talk about classic propaganda. scare the hell out of the little people so they will do what you want them too.
