Mike T
Has anyone yet gor these new 2006 Madds ? How they feel and behave ? Demoed and '06 170 Flex3 and a '06 158 Flex2 @ SES. I liked the 170 much better than last year's... the nose was stiffer and so was the overall flex on the Flex3, which made it much more amenable to varying turn shapes. I found last year's 170 to be happy only when ridden very hard... made it hard to open up the turn. I weigh 195. The 158 was FUN... everything I'd hoped based on reports of the old ones... although I've never ridden the old ones so who knows they may be even better. I wished I had tried it on a firmer day, but found myself aiming for blown-off patches and making sure to switch edges on them. I might just have to get me one. lonerider
I saw them in someof the SES gallery photos, did anyone bring their softboots and try out the Madd Twin-Tip 158 park board? I'm looking for a carvey freestyle board (my Rad Air Reto Lamm 156 is great... but I'm always on the lookout).
