patmoore Posted January 17, 2006 Author Report Share Posted January 17, 2006 I raced there last night (GS on skis). The snow held up beautifully to almost 200 racers. If anything it was a little slow but the ruts didn't appear until the very end. They have made a lot of snow. At the top of the stairs to the starting platform, the snow was a foot thick. patmoore Posted January 18, 2006 Author Report Share Posted January 18, 2006 I'm sorry to say that the CT Snowboard Race has been postponed until March 4th and will take place at Sugarbush in conjunction with the Connecticut Ski Council's annual Winter Carnival.
