oldkey
Come join other hard booters in the Twin Cities at Buck Hill tomorrow, Sunday, January 7. We will likley be riding outside of the main chalet (where you get lift tickets) to the left of the quad as you look up the hill. Freestyle boards welcome. Bring any extra boards/boots/bindings that you might have for sale or trade. There is a special priced lift ticket that is for the morning only. Hope to see you there. bjvircks
What's happening? anyone showing up Sunday AM?? I'd like to, but the drive up & back(4 1/2 hr each way), gas costs, lodging ($54) etc make me think I should stay put.
Speedzilla
I might be there. Although, it's a 3 minute drive each way for me.
ajcannon
Hey Minnesot-ers. I'm from Iowa City, but I get up there quite a bit to visit my sister-in-law who lives in St. Paul. Maybe I can catch up with you guys sometime. Seems like twin cities is a hotbed for boarders. I'll keep an eye out for Buck Hill or Welch posts. Thanks. -AJ
oldkey
....every Sunday is different. This week there will likley be two G Team coaches and 4 G team kids (11, 13, 14 and 16)....maybe a few more. There can be as little as two or three adults carvers and sometime upwards of a dozen. But.....every week is different. Certainly I would hate to have you drive up and find that this is a slow week......and it certainly can be....and it sounds like you can't make MES on Tuesday. In addition, the G Team kids may skip out a little early for a "non snow related" bonding activity. All the training lately has some on edge....the team captain wants to get them into another environment. Your call.....but could be a light weekend.
